Battery
The OUKITEL OT5 is equipped with a non-replaceable 8250mAh battery. You can monitor the battery status using the icon displayed in the top right corner of the screen.
Warning:
- Only use Oukitel-approved batteries specifically designed for your phone.
- Incompatible batteries can cause serious injuries or damage to your phone.
- Never place batteries or phones on or in heating devices such as microwave ovens, stoves, or radiators. Batteries may explode when overheated.
Card Installation
To ensure your device can make calls, insert the SIM card in the following order:
- First, insert and press the needle into the hole on the side to pop out the card tray.
- Next, with the device facing up, insert the card tray into the device in the direction of the arrow.
The diagram illustrates inserting a SIM card or a TF (microSD) card into the tray, and then inserting the tray back into the device.
Instructions for Use
Power On
To power on the device, press and hold the power button for 3 to 5 seconds.
Sending Text Messages and Multimedia Messages
To send a text message: Open the SMS app, select "New Message", enter a phone number or select an existing contact, type your message into the text field, and tap "Send".
To send a multimedia message: Follow the steps above, but before sending, tap the multimedia icon next to the text field to select images, videos, or other files to add. Then tap "Send".
Language Switching
Navigate to Settings > System > Language & Input > Language. Tap "Add a Language", select your desired language, and then move it to the top position to set it as the primary language.
Maintenance
- Thoroughly understand the maintenance procedures to use the device more safely and effectively, and to extend its service life.
- If you wish to disassemble the device or its accessories, follow the instructions in this user guide and do not attempt it otherwise.
- Avoid dropping, knocking, or shaking your device. Rough handling can cause the screen to crack and damage the internal circuit board and its delicate structure.
- Do not use chemical solvents or detergents to clean your device. Wipe the device case with a soft cotton cloth dampened with water and mild soap.
- Clean the lens and display, and generally all glass-covered surfaces, with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
- When the charger is not in use, unplug it from the power outlet. Do not connect a fully charged battery to the charger for extended periods, as overheating will shorten battery life.
Safety Instructions
To ensure safety during product use, strictly adhere to the following rules:
- Keep the device at least 15 centimeters away from any medical implant or rhythm adjuster. Never place the device in your chest pocket.
- Do not expose the device or other batteries to high temperatures or heat-generating equipment (e.g., sunlight, heaters, microwave ovens, stoves, or water heaters). Overheating of the battery can cause an explosion.
- When charging is complete or the device is not charging, disconnect the charger from the device and unplug it from the outlet.
- If the device has a non-removable battery, do not attempt to replace it yourself to avoid damaging the battery or the device.
- Using an unapproved or incompatible power source, charger, or battery may cause fire, explosion, or other hazards.
- Do not disassemble or short-circuit the battery. Do not insert other objects into the device. Do not immerse it in water or other liquids to avoid battery leakage, overheating, fire, or explosion.
- Do not drop, crush, scratch, or puncture the battery to avoid excessive external pressure, which may result in internal short-circuit and overheating.
- The manufacturer is not responsible for accidents caused by non-standard charging equipment.
Warranty Conditions
A new product purchased from the Alza.cz sales network is guaranteed for 2 years. For repairs or other services during the warranty period, contact the product seller directly and provide the original proof of purchase with the date of purchase.
The following conditions are considered a breach of warranty terms, for which a claim may not be recognized:
- Using the product for a purpose other than intended, or failing to follow maintenance, operation, and service instructions.
- Damage caused by natural disaster, intervention by an unauthorized person, or mechanical damage due to buyer's fault (e.g., during transport, cleaning with inappropriate means).
- Natural wear and aging of consumables or components during use (e.g., batteries).
- Exposure to adverse external influences such as sunlight, radiation, electromagnetic fields, fluid intrusion, object intrusion, power surges, electrostatic discharge (including lightning), faulty power supply or input voltage, incorrect polarity, or chemical processes.
- Modifications, alterations, or adaptations made by anyone to change or extend product functions compared to the purchased design, or the use of non-original components.
EU Declaration of Conformity & WEEE
This product complies with the legal requirements of Directive No. 2014/53/EU.
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment):
This product must not be disposed of as normal household waste according to the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE - 2012/19 / EU). Instead, it shall be returned to the place of purchase or handed over to a public collection point for recyclable waste. By ensuring correct disposal, you help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health. Contact your local authority or the nearest collection point for further details. Improper disposal may result in fines according to national regulations.
