5. Riding Advice
The isinwheel GT2 electric scooter is designed for recreation but is considered a vehicle in public spaces and is subject to traffic laws and risks. For your safety and the safety of others, adhere to the following:
- Understand that risks exist due to unpredictable actions of others. The scooter's speed requires longer stopping distances. Be aware that smooth surfaces can be slippery, potentially leading to falls. Exercise caution, maintain appropriate speed, and keep a safe distance, especially in unfamiliar areas.
- Respect pedestrian right-of-way. Avoid startling pedestrians, particularly children. When approaching pedestrians from behind, use your bell to alert them and pass on their left (where applicable). When crossing pedestrian areas, maintain a low speed and stay to the right, or dismount if necessary.
- Follow all safety instructions in this manual. isinwheel is not liable for financial losses, injuries, accidents, or legal disputes arising from violations of user instructions.
- Do not lend the scooter to individuals unfamiliar with its operation. Ensure any borrower understands how to operate it safely and wears appropriate safety gear.
- Inspect the scooter before each use. If you notice loose parts, low battery warnings, excessive wear, unusual noises, or malfunctions, cease riding immediately.
- ▲ WARNING - Fire Risk - No user-serviceable parts.
6. Charging
Proper charging is essential for battery longevity and safety:
- The scooter is fully charged when the charger's LED indicator turns green. The charger has built-in protection to automatically stop charging upon completion.
- It is not recommended to charge the scooter for more than 24 consecutive hours.
- Never connect the charger if the charging port is wet.
- Keep the charging port closed when not in use.
- ▲ Never use a charger exceeding 54.6V 2A to avoid danger.

8. Riding Basics
Learn the fundamental steps for riding your scooter safely:
Protective Gear: Always wear a helmet ⛑️, elbow pads, and knee pads to protect against falls and injuries, regardless of your riding experience.
- Power On & Battery Check: Turn on the scooter and verify the battery level indicator.
- Starting Position: Stand with one foot on the deck and the other on the ground. Push off with the ground foot to gain initial momentum.
- Moving Forward: Once the scooter begins to move, place your second foot onto the deck and press the accelerator. The accelerator engages once the speed exceeds 5 km/h.
- Braking: To brake gently, release the accelerator; the Kinetic Energy Recovery System (KERS) will automatically engage. For abrupt braking, press the brake lever.
- Turning: Lean your body slightly in the direction you intend to turn, and gently turn the handlebars.
9. Safety Instructions
Adhere to these safety guidelines for a secure riding experience:
- ?️ Do not ride in the rain.
- Maintain a moderate or low speed (around 8 km/h) when crossing speed bumps, elevator thresholds, bumpy roads, or other uneven surfaces. Bend your knees slightly to better absorb impacts from these surfaces.
- Be cautious of doors, elevators, and other potential overhead obstacles.
- ⬇️ Do not accelerate when going downhill.
- Do not press the accelerator while walking alongside the scooter.
- ⚠️ Always avoid obstacles.
10. Dangerous Actions (No Attempt!)
Avoid these dangerous actions to ensure your safety:
- Do not hang bags or other heavy objects on the handlebars.
- Always keep both feet firmly on the deck.
- Do not ride in traffic lanes or residential areas where vehicles and pedestrians are permitted.
- Do not turn the handlebars abruptly while riding at high speed.
- Do not ride through puddles deeper than 20 mm.
- Never ride with a passenger, including children.
11. Disc Brake Adjustment
Adjusting the disc brake sensitivity and noise:
To adjust sensitivity:
- You will need a hexagonal wrench.
- If the brake is too sensitive (bites too hard), turn the brake lever rocker arm slightly downwards. Reinstall the screws to tighten.
- If the brake is not stopping effectively, turn the brake lever rocker arm slightly upwards. Reinstall the screw to tighten.
- Note: The disc brake may produce a squeaking sound until it is properly bedded in. This is normal and does not affect performance.
To eliminate brake noise:
- Ensure the scooter is turned off. It is recommended to place the scooter on a desk for easier access.
- Loosen the two screws on the brake caliper (not the rocker arm screw).
- Adjust the position of the brake caliper so that the brake disc is centered between the brake pads.
- Verify that the brake disc does not touch the brake pads when not engaged.
- Hold the caliper in the desired position and retighten the caliper screws.
12. Daily Care and Maintenance
Keep your scooter in optimal condition with regular care:
Cleaning and Storage
- For general cleaning, wipe the scooter body with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use toothpaste and a toothbrush, then wipe with a damp cloth.
- Remarks:
- Do not use alcohol, gasoline, kerosene, or other corrosive solvents for cleaning, as they can cause damage.
- Avoid washing the deck with a high-pressure water jet. Ensure the scooter is off, the charging cable is disconnected, and the rubber flap is closed during cleaning to prevent water ingress, which could lead to electric shock or other issues.
- When not in use, store the scooter indoors in a dry and cool environment.
- Avoid prolonged outdoor storage, as excessive sunlight, heat, or cold can shorten the battery's lifespan.
Battery Maintenance
- Always use original batteries. Using batteries from other models or brands may pose safety risks.
- Do not touch battery contacts, disassemble, or puncture the battery casing. Keep contacts away from metal objects to prevent short circuits.
- Use only the original power adapter to prevent potential damage or fire hazards.
- Improper disposal of used batteries can harm the environment. Follow local regulations for battery recycling.
- Charge the battery fully after each use to maximize its lifespan.
Storage and Disposal
- Store the scooter in a cool, dry place, ideally between -10°C and 40°C. High humidity can cause condensation and damage the battery. The scooter is not designed for altitudes above 2,000 meters. Protect it from prolonged exposure to UV rays, rain, and elements by storing it indoors when not in use.
- During daily use, recharge the scooter once the battery is depleted. If the battery level is low, recharge it promptly.
- To preserve battery health, charge the scooter every other month, even if not in frequent use.

Error Code | Definition |
---|
03 | Check if the three-phase wire terminals and the Hall signal connector are in poor contact, or if the system start-up time exceeds 2S due to heavy load (e.g., climbing or blocked wheels). If this condition persists after reconnecting the terminals, the controller or motor is damaged. |
04 | Protection against low battery voltage, undervoltage protection. |
06 | Detect if the motor's Hall commutation signal is faulty and check if the Hall signal connector is in poor contact. If the condition persists after reconnecting the terminals, the motor's Hall sensor is damaged. |
07 | When the system is powered on, detect if the handlebar is out of control or if the handlebar signal is less than 0.75V. If the handlebar was twisted before the system operated, the fault may be cleared after resetting. |
08 | Controller failure. |
10 | The controller cannot receive the signal from the dashboard. |
15 | The controller cannot receive the signal from the dashboard. |
If the 5-conductor wire connecting the dashboard and the controller fails, the specific reasons may be as follows:
- (1) If the dashboard does not light up, the screen is black. Possible reasons: The main power line between the controller and the battery is not properly connected, or there is an issue with one of the red, black, or even blue wires connecting the dashboard and the controller.
- (2) If the dashboard can light up, but it stops functioning after 3 seconds. Possible reasons: One of the green-yellow signal wires connecting the dashboard and the controller is open.
