Mobile phone App installation
1. Download and install the HDWifiCamPro app from the Apple App Store for iOS devices, or search for it on Google Play for Android devices. For easier installation, scan the QR code below to download and install HDWifiCamPro. If your device fails to connect to Google Play, scan the APK QR code below for download and installation. Note: It is recommended to use the QR code scanning software that comes with your browser or a third-party application to scan and download the app. Direct download and installation of app files is not supported by WeChat scan.

2. Click the '+' icon to add a new camera. Enter the page for adding the camera and fill in the UID or password to add the camera. Note: When using the camera for the first time, please refer to the "Set up the camera to connect to the WIFI network" section in this manual to set up the camera to connect to your router before adding the camera.
Adding a Camera
There are two ways to quickly enter the camera UID:
- A. Scan the QR code on the camera.
- B. Search for the camera through the local network.
To add a camera:
- Enter the camera name and P2P password. The default P2P password is 6666.
- Click 'Search' to find the camera.
- Click 'Scan QR code' to scan the camera's QR code.
- Click 'Sure' to confirm.
After the camera is added successfully, it is recommended to modify the P2P access password after setting up the camera.
5. Once the camera shows as online, click on the camera you just added to watch the real-time video. You can control the device within the video interface.

Camera setting
1. Click the gear button to open the advanced configuration page of the camera.
2. Modify the Wi-Fi connection. Select 'Wi-Fi Settings'. The camera will display available Wi-Fi hotspots. Select your Wi-Fi network name (SSID), enter the Wi-Fi password, and press the finish key to connect. Note: After saving, if the camera is connected to Wi-Fi, it will disconnect the current connection to try a new Wi-Fi network, which will cause the camera to be temporarily offline in the app for about 1 minute.
3. SD card video recording setting: Set the recording mode and the screen size for SD card video recording.
Connect the camera to the Wi-Fi wireless network
For a new camera or when installing the camera in a new location, reset the camera to default settings (press and hold the camera reset button for more than 5 seconds after the camera starts). Turn on AP mode after the camera restarts. The Wi-Fi indicator light will flash slowly (once every 3 seconds). Then, on your phone, go to settings, connect to the camera's AP hotspot (the Wi-Fi network is named after the camera UID), and wait for the phone to switch to the camera's Wi-Fi network before starting the app.

- Select to add camera "+" in the app.
- Select to connect the camera to the Wi-Fi network.
4. Click the Wi-Fi configuration and verify that the displayed Wi-Fi network name is the same as the device's UID number. Then return to the app, and the device will be added automatically.
5. Then click the camera configuration page and click Wi-Fi Settings, select the router hotspot to be configured, and enter the correct Wi-Fi password, waiting for the camera to get online.
Troubleshooting Notes:
- A. Camera indicator light does not flash slowly and AP is not turned on before you start configuring Wi-Fi.
- B. If the phone fails to connect to the camera AP, you need to configure the phone to connect to the AP hotspot of the camera.
- C. Ordinary routers are supported. However, public routers requiring a login page authentication are not supported.
- D. Ensure there are no errors in the network name, network password, and UID during configuration.
- E. Wi-Fi names and passwords in Chinese are not supported at this moment.
- F. 5G Wi-Fi signal is not supported.
- G. Check if the Wi-Fi indicator light is always on. If it is, it means the camera networking is successful. Add an online camera directly. The app may not detect a successful camera configuration due to network shielding.
- H. If Wi-Fi is using WEP encryption mode, change it to WPA mode.
P2P mode viewing
You can view videos directly and operate the camera without a Wi-Fi router.
Steps:
- Reset the camera and wait for it to restart and turn on AP mode.
- After the camera starts, you can find the Wi-Fi network named after the camera UID on the phone's Wi-Fi setting page, without encryption.
- Connect your phone to the Wi-Fi network and wait for the successful Wi-Fi signal connection icon.
- Similar to router mode, add an online camera directly and you can turn it on for normal use. If you have already added a camera, you can connect directly.
- After the connection is successful, open and view the videos.
