Compatibility
Your IntelliPot is 1200 W and requires a voltage of 120V. Ensure your outlet is compatible before using the product. Do not plug the IntelliPot into any outlet other than the standard U.S. outlet.
Getting Started
Before plugging in your IntelliPot, ensure the outlet voltage matches the IntelliPot's requirements.
Always use oven mitts/pot holders as the glass lid and exterior will become hot during use.
It is recommended to use tools made of nylon, plastic, wood, silicon, or melamine.
Heating without food, water, oil, or other liquids may cause damage to the IntelliPot or its non-stick coating and void your warranty.
Do not scratch the surface or cut directly in the item.
Always use caution when using the IntelliPot around children.
Please use the IntelliPot only for its intended purposes as recommended in this manual.
Never preheat or cook without contents inside. Always ensure you do not let your food boil dry, as this can damage the item and void the warranty.
The lifting basket can be used for steaming vegetables or cooking pasta, or removed for sautéing, frying, simmering, or boiling liquids.
Using Your IntelliPot
To steam food, add water or liquid to the bottom of the IntelliPot body and place food in the lifting basket, balancing it on the center column.
You may use the glass lid or cook without it.
Remove the lifting basket when not needed for easier cooking and monitoring.
Plug in the IntelliPot power cord. You should hear a single [Beep Sound] and see "IntelliPot" on the LED screen.
Press the [Power Symbol] button to turn the device on. The LED screen will initially show "Temp". After approximately 5 seconds, it will switch to "Time". Press the [Temp/Time Symbol] button to switch between "Temp" and "Time" functions.
While on the "Temp" function, use the [+] and [-] buttons to select one of the 5 temperature options: 180°F, 210°F, 240°F, 300°F, and 360°F. Adjust as needed for your cooking.
Flashing lights on the LED screen indicate the IntelliPot is heating. Lights stop blinking when the temperature is reached. Note: Water boils at 212°F; water-based products may not reach higher temperatures, and lights may continue to blink even at 240°F or above, which is normal.
Using Your IntelliPot Continued
To set the cooking time, ensure the LED screen shows "Time". Use the [+] and [-] buttons to set the duration. When the timer reaches zero, the lifting basket will rise, and the heat will turn off automatically.
If cooking without the basket, the center column will still rise. You can lower it by pressing the [Down Arrow] button. If the glass lid is on, the basket may not fully raise; remove the lid and press the [Up Arrow] button to fully raise it.
The maximum cooking time is 45 minutes. A short tap on [+] increases time by 20 seconds; holding [+] increases time by 5-minute intervals.
When the timer finishes, the IntelliPot will [Beep Sound], and the lifting basket will rise. The LED screen shows the remaining time.
You can manually raise or lower the basket during cooking (e.g., to check food) by pressing the [Up Arrow] or [Down Arrow] buttons at any time, provided the IntelliPot is on and the timer has not reached zero.
When using the lifting basket, always use oven mitts or gloves and the included tongs to remove it. Insert tongs into the holes on the sides of the basket and squeeze firmly to lift. Use extreme caution as the basket will be hot.
