GENERAL SAFETY RULES  Some regions have regulations that restrict the use of

Ensure before each use that all controls and safety devices function correctly.  Do not touch the area around the silencer or engine of the unit, these parts get very hot during operation.
 Inspect the machine before each use. Check for loose fasteners, fuel leaks, etc. Make sure all guards, and handles are properly and securely attached. Replace any damaged parts before use.

If the machine is dropped, suffers heavy impact or begins to vibrate abnormally, immediately stop the machine and inspect for damage or identify the cause of the vibration. Any damage should be properly repaired or replaced by an authorised service centre.
 Stop the engine and allow it to cool before refueling, storing or transporting the machine.

 For refueling and fuel mixing, chose an area away from sources of ignition (sparks, flames etc.), flammable materials and which is well ventilated.
 Do not smoke when mixing fuel or filling fuel tank.

 Remember to securely refit the fuel tank filler cap before starting the engine.
 Wipe up any fuel spillage. Move 9 m away from refueling site before starting engine.
 It has been reported that vibrations from hand-held tools may contribute to a condition called Raynaud's Syndrome in certain individuals. Symptoms may include tingling, numbness and blanching of the fingers, usually apparent upon exposure to cold. INTENDED USE

UNPACKING 7KLVSURGXFWUHTXLUHVDVVHPEO\  Carefully remove the product and any accessories
from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included.
WARNING: Do not use this product if any parts on the Packing List are already assembled to your product when you unpack it. Parts on this list are not assembled to the product by the manufacturer and require customer installation. Use of a product that may have been improperly assembled could result in VHULRXVSHUVRQDOLQMXU\  Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping.  Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the product.
ASSEMBLING THE BLOWER TUBES
See Figure 2.  Close the vacuum inlet cover securely. Make sure the
metal contact on the inlet cover is inserted into the positive switch.  Align the raised tabs on the blower housing outlet to the slots at the upper tube; slide and tighten securely by twisting; press slider plate into the slot of the positive switch to make sure the switch is engaged and ready to operate.

 Connect the lower and upper tubes together.  Connect the nozzle.  7RUHPRYHWKHEORZHUWXEHSXOORXWWKHVOLGHUIURPWKH
positive switch, then rotate the tubes to remove them from the blower housing outlet.
INSTALLING THE VACUUM BAG
See Figure 3-4.  Unzip the vacuum bag and place the adaptor inside
as shown. Push the vacuum bag adaptor through the RSHQLQJLQDGLUHFWLRQRSSRVLWHWRWKH]LSSHU7KHZLGHU end of the adaptor will remain in the vacuum bag when installed properly.  Align the raised slots on the vacuum bag adaptor with the raised locking tabs on the blower housing outlet; SXVK WKH EDJ DGDSWRU RQWR WKH KRXVLQJ 7ZLVW WR ORFN into place, press the metal contact into the positive switch slot to make sure the switch is engaged and ready to operate.  Rotate the vacuum bag until the shoulder strap is upright.  Make sure the vacuum bag is zipped and closed before starting the unit.
INSTALLING THE VACUUM TUBES
See Figure 5 - 6.
WARNING:
Rotating impeller blades can cause severe LQMXU\ $OZD\V VWRS WKH HQJLQH DQG HQVXUH impeller blades have stopped rotating before RSHQLQJWKHYDFXXPGRRURULQVWDOOLQJFKDQJLQJ WXEHV'RQRWSXWKDQGVRUDQ\RWKHUREMHFWLQWR the vacuum tubes while they are installed on the unit.
To install the vacuum tubes:  Secure the upper and lower vacuum tubes together
by aligning the raised locking tabs with the matching RULILFH RQ WKH XSSHU YDFXXP WXEH 7KH WZR WXEHV become one tube assembly after inserting them together.  Depress door tab using a flathead screwdriver to open the vacuum inlet cover.  Align tabs on housing with the tube assembly.  7LJKWHQ VFUHZV RQ WKH XSSHU YDFXXP WXEH WR VHFXUH to the blower housing. Make sure the metal contact on the vacuum tube is inserted into the positive switch.
To remove the vacuum tubes:  Loosen screws of the upper vacuum tube by turning
counterclockwise.  Remove the vacuum tube assembly from the blower
housing.

 Close the vacuum inlet cover securely. Make sure the metal contact on the inlet cover is inserted into the positive switch.
OPERATION NOTE:7KHXQLWKDVSRVLWLYHVZLWFKHVDWWKHEORZLQJDQG YDFXXPLQJ RSHQLQJ VLGHV 7KH XQLW ZLOO RQO\ UXQ LI ERWK the metal contacts are inserted into the positive switches. When running the unit in blower mode (Fig. 8), the metal contact on the blower tube and inlet cover must be inserted into their respective positive switches. When running the unit in vacuum mode (Fig. 11), the metal contact on the adapter tube and the vacuum tube must be inserted into their respective positive switches.
WARNING:

APPLICATIONS

Check your equipment before operation, especially the silencer, air intakes and air filters.  Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing.  In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces.  Watch out for children, pets, open windows, or freshly washed cars, and blow debris safely away.  Hold blower as shown in Figure 8, so the air stream can work close to the ground.  Blow around the outer edges of a debris pile to prevent GHEULV IURP VFDWWHULQJ 1HYHU EORZ GLUHFWO\ LQWR WKH center of a pile.  After using blowers or other equipment, clean up. Dispose of debris properly. NOTE: 7KH KLJK YHORFLW\ QR]]OH LV VSHFL¿FDOO\ GHVLJQHG for wet sticky leaves. It allows you to scrape wet leaves or debris while operating the blower.
CRUISE CONTROL

VACUUM OPERATION

 Start the engine. Refer to the "Starting and Stopping" earlier in this manual.
 Place the vacuum bag strap over your right shoulder. Hold the upper handle in your left hand and the vacuum handle in your right hand.
 Move the equipment from side to side along outer HGJHRIWKHGHEULV7RDYRLGFORJJLQJGRQRWSODFHWKH vacuum tube directly into the debris pile.
 Hold the engine higher than the inlet of the vacuum tube.
 Always point the vacuum tube downhill when working on a hillside.
 7RDYRLGVHULRXVLQMXU\WRWKHRSHUDWRURUGDPDJHWR the unit, do not attempt to suck rocks, broken glass, ERWWOHVRURWKHUVLPLODUREMHFWV
 If the vacuum tubes get clogged, stop the engine, ensure the impeller blades have stopped spinning and disconnect the spark plug wire before cleaning out the obstruction. Remove the vacuum tubes and clear the GHEULVIURPWKHEORZHUIDQKRXVLQJ7KHQUHPRYHWKH bag and clear the tube. A small rod or stick may be required to clear the entire tube length. Ensure that all debris has been cleared before reassembling the vacuum tubes.

CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
See Figure 12 - 13. )RU SURSHU SHUIRUPDQFH DQG ORQJ OLIH NHHS WKH DLU ¿OWHU clean.  Remove the air filter cover by turning the dial counter
clockwise while gently pulling out the cover.  Rinse the filter with clean water.  Gently squeeze filter until excess water is removed.

clockwise until the cover is secured.

THE FUEL CAP

STORING THE PRODUCT  Clean all foreign material from the product. Store
idle unit indoors in a dry, well-ventilated area that is LQDFFHVVLEOH WR FKLOGUHQ .HHS DZD\ IURP FRUURVLYH agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts.  Comply with all the ISO and local regulations for the safe storage and handling of petrol. When storing for 1 month or longer:  Drain all fuel from the tank into a container approved for petrol. Run the engine until it stops.

CLEANING THE EXHAUST PORT, SILENCER AND SPARK ARRESTOR
Depending on the type of fuel used, the type and amount RI OXEULFDQW XVHG DQGRU \RXU RSHUDWLQJ FRQGLWLRQV WKH H[KDXVW SRUW VLOHQFHU DQGRU VSDUN DUUHVWRU VFUHHQ PD\ become blocked with carbon deposits. It is recommended to clean or replace the spark arrestor every 50 hours or yearly to ensure proper performance of your product. Spark arrestors may be in different locations depending on the model purchased. Please contact your nearest service dealer.
