Corelite Iridium i2 WaveStream LED Suspended Luminaire
Description
The Iridium i2 WaveStream™ luminaire offers advanced technology in a classic curvilinear shape, providing excellent illumination and superior optical control. Its wide batwing distribution is ideal for lower ceiling applications and areas requiring ceiling uniformity. Designed to meet stringent building energy requirements, it achieves efficacy up to 120 lumens per watt. Available in 4' and 8' sections for continuous runs, the Iridium i2 WaveStream is suitable for commercial offices, schools, libraries, and architectural interiors.
Specification Features
Construction
The housing is constructed from a one-piece, die-formed cold-rolled steel, creating a 9" x 2-1/2" curved profile. Modular 4'-0" and 8'-0" sections allow for continuous runs.
End Caps
Standard Straight and optional Beveled end caps are precision die-cast aluminum, mechanically attached without exposed fasteners. The Straight end cap adds 6" to each end, while the Beveled end cap adds 2" to each end.
Shielding
The bottom lens is made of high light transmission 0.08" thick linear prismatic frosted acrylic material.
Optics
A precision-formed optical assembly with optical grade acrylic lenses provides an ideal direct/indirect optical distribution using WaveStream technology. The low voltage WaveStream LED light engine is field-replaceable.
Electrical
The Long-Life LED system is coupled with an electronic driver for optimal performance. The projected life is 100,000 hours at 81% lumen output. LEDs are available in 3000K, 3500K, or 4000K with a typical CRI of >85. Standard drivers are 0-10 volt continuous dimming, compatible with any 0-10V control/dimmer. Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) drivers are available for use with Fifth Light controls. Refer to ordering information for details.
Mounting
Standard aircraft cable mounts are available on 4'-0", 8'-0", and 12'-0" centers. Consult installation instructions for various ceiling interface details.
Finish
Fixture housings feature a high-reflectance white finish achieved through electrostatically applied polyester powder coat paint.
Compliance
Components are UL recognized, and luminaires are cULus listed for 25°C ambient environments. They are damp location listed and RoHS compliant. The product is DesignLights Consortium™ Qualified and classified for DLC Standard. For details, visit www.designlights.org.

Technical Notes
- Dimming wires are standard in all LED fixtures but can be capped in the field for standard switched operation.
- When dimming is selected, a separate drop for low voltage control wires is supplied as standard. A single drop may be supplied upon request.
- For approximate delivered lumens, multiply lumens per watt by the fixture's wattage.
- Integral 347V electronic driver is available with the STD 0-10V option. Two drivers are required for Light Level 5. A factory-supplied remote transformer is included for all other driver/dimming options.
- Standard row configurations over 8' consist of 4' and 8' luminaires.
- Must be used in conjunction with a DALI control system. For Fifth Light Technology products and other solutions from Cooper Lighting Solutions, visit www.cooperlighting.com.
- Two HCD drivers are required per 4' section for Light Levels 4 and 5.
- Two Fifth Light (5LT) drivers are required per 4' section for Light Level 5.
- Step-dim is not available in Light Level 1. Two step-dim drivers are required per 4' section for Light Level 5.
- SV sensor operates only with 0-10V drivers and is factory prewired for stand-alone control. This applies to individual fixtures only. Order #ISHH-01 for the Programming Remote and #ISHH-02 for the Personal Control Remote.
- LWI sensor requires an SR driver and must be used with a LumaWatt Pro control system. For LumaWatt Pro wireless solutions, visit www.cooperlighting.com.
- SW sensor operates only with STD and HCD 0-10V drivers and is designed for use with the WaveLinx Wireless Connected Lighting system. For WaveLinx wireless solutions, visit www.cooperlighting.com.
- Integrated Sensors combined with an Emergency Circuit require one UL924 Bypass Relay per emergency section to disable sensor control when normal power is lost.
SVPD1 Integrated Sensor
The Iridium with Integrated Sensor technology provides automatic energy savings without requiring coordination with a separate lighting control system. It offers integrated PIR occupancy sensing and daylighting controls for enhanced performance.
Benefits include automatic ON to an energy-saving light level and automatic OFF when the space is unoccupied, simplifying installation without complicated coverage planning or special wiring.
Integral daylight sensors reduce the need for specialized daylight zone planning. The luminaire automatically adjusts its light level based on reflected light beneath the sensor in a closed-loop method.
Occupied and unoccupied daylight light levels can be adjusted using the integrated sensor programming remote (Catalog Number: ISHH-01). The integrated sensor personal remote (Catalog Number: ISHH-02) allows for code-compliant manual control of raise, lower, ON, and OFF functions.
The Iridium with Integrated Sensors is easy to install, requiring no special wiring, and delivers energy savings out-of-the-box with default control settings.
How it Works:
- When a user enters a sensor-controlled space, the luminaire turns ON to the daylight level (default 500 lux).
- Lighting remains at the daylight level until the space becomes unoccupied. This initiates the occupancy timeout period (default 20 minutes).
- If the space remains unoccupied for half of the timeout period, the lighting automatically reduces to the Energy Saver light level (often half of the occupied daylight level).
- At the end of the timeout period, the lighting transitions to the unoccupied light level, which uses the OFF default setting.
