Overview
The TAO 1tiny is an essential accessory for users of compact webcams and ePTZ cameras. It enables these cameras to function as HDMI native devices, allowing for connectivity in almost any setting. This compact, inline converter measures just 9x5x3cm and provides HDMI connectivity for cameras and similar USB-C UVC capture devices. It supports popular VESA standard resolutions up to 4K, with video transcoded to HDMI being uncompressed to maintain full fidelity for superior visual performance.

Notes:
- If the input UVC signal is 4K@30 and the HDMI OUT is connected to a 4K monitor, the output resolution can be up to 4K@60.
- The power adapter should provide at least 5V/2A/10W. Do not use a computer's USB port for power supply.
Connecting TAO 1tiny
The TAO 1tiny supports USB 3.0 (UVC compliance) to HDMI 2.0 output and can be used with USB cameras and the mini series devices.
1. How to Work With USB Camera
Please operate as shown in the following connection diagram:

An optional USB receiver can be connected to the 'USB 2.0 COM Port' for remote control.
- Connect the Power Port with a power supply.
- Connect the USB-C Input Port to the USB Camera via a USB-C cable. (The TAO 1tiny can supply power to the USB camera: 5V/1A)
- Connect the HDMI 2.0 Output Port to a monitor via an HDMI cable.
2. How to Work With mini Series
Please operate as shown in the following connection diagram:

- Connect the Power Port of TAO 1tiny with a power supply.
- Connect the mini-pro device to the USB-C Input Port via a USB 3.0 to USB-C cable.
- Connect the HDMI 2.0 Output Port to a monitor via an HDMI cable.
Firmware Upgrade
The TAO 1tiny can be upgraded using a USB disk. The device will automatically upgrade after plugging a USB disk containing the latest upgrade firmware into the USB 2.0 port. The device will then restart automatically. A file indicating the upgrade is complete will be found on the USB disk. Additionally, the HDMI monitor will display the message "Upgrade Done" along with the upgrade version.
⚠️ Do not disconnect the device during firmware upgrade.
