Safety Precautions
For the Installer:
- Read this guide before installing and using the appliance.
- Ensure no child or at-risk party is present during installation.
- Make sure the base of the outdoor unit is firmly secured.
- Check that air cannot enter the refrigerant system and there are no refrigerant leaks.
- Test the air conditioner after installation and record operating data.
- Ensure the indoor unit is connected to a fuse that can withstand the maximum input current or another device with overload protection.
- Make sure the mains voltage matches the rating plate. Keep the switch and power plug clean and insert the plug correctly to avoid electric shock or fire.
- Check that the socket is the same physical configuration as the plug.
- The appliance must be fitted with means for disconnection from the supply mains having a contact separation in all poles that provide full disconnection under over voltage category III conditions.
- The air conditioner must be installed by professionals or qualified persons.
- Install the appliance more than 50 cm from inflammable substances and pressurized containers.
- If used in areas without proper ventilation, take precautions to prevent refrigerant gas leaks.
- Packaging materials are recyclable. Dispose of them in appropriate waste bins.
- Only use the air conditioner as instructed in this booklet.
- Common sense and caution are always recommended.
- Install in accordance with applicable national and regional regulations.
- Before accessing terminals, disconnect all power circuits.
- This appliance can only be used by children 8 years and older and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or persons that lack experience and knowledge IF they have been supervised or instructed in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance and should not clean or exercise maintenance without direct supervision.
For the User:
- Do not try to install the conditioner alone; contact specialized technical personnel.
- Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out by specialized technical personnel. Disconnect the appliance from the mains electricity supply before cleaning or maintenance.
- Do not pull out the plug to switch off the appliance when it is in operation.
- This appliance is made for air conditioning domestic environments and must not be used for other purposes.
- Always use the appliance with the air filter installed.
- The user is responsible for having the appliance installed by a qualified technician.
- Recycle or dispose of remote controller batteries properly.
- Never remain in direct flow of cold air for extended periods. Exercise caution in rooms with children and old or sick individuals.
- If the appliance gives off smoke or there is a burning smell, immediately cut off the power supply and contact the Service Center.
- All repairs should be carried out by an authorized service center.
- Unhook the automatic switch if you foresee not using the device for a long time.
- The airflow direction must be properly adjusted.
- Flaps must be directed downwards in heating mode and upwards in cooling mode.
- Ensure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply when it will remain inoperative for a long period.
- Selecting the most suitable temperature can prevent damage to the appliance.
Prohibitions:
- Do not bend, tug or compress the power cord.
- Do not use extension cords, power strips, or gang modules.
- Do not touch the appliance when barefoot or parts of the body are wet or damp.
- Do not obstruct the air inlet or outlet of the indoor or outdoor unit.
- In no way alter the characteristics of the appliance.
- Do not install the appliance in environments where the air could contain gas, oil or sulphur or near sources of heat.
- Do not climb onto or place any heavy or hot objects on top of the appliance.
- Do not leave windows or doors open for long periods of time.
- Do not direct airflow onto plants or animals.
- Do not install the conditioner in areas with risk to water exposure.
- Never insert a stick or similar object into the appliance.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons.
Names of Parts
Indoor Unit: Mounting plate, Air filter, Air inlet, Front panel, Emergency button, Air outlet, Air deflector and flap, Remote controller.
Outdoor Unit: Air outlet, Air inlet, Wiring cover, Drainage pipe, Connection wiring, Valve protective cover, Gas valve (Low pressure valve), Liquid valve (High pressure valve).
Note: Figure shown may be different from the actual object.
Indoor Unit Display
The indoor unit display shows the following indicators:
- SLEEP ?: Lights up during Timer operation when the air conditioner is operational.
- Temperature display/Error code 88: Displays the temperature or malfunction code when a fault occurs.
- TIMER ⏰: Lights up during Timer operation.
Note: For models with Wi-Fi function, additional information like PP (searching router), SA (connected to router), AP (connected to server) may be shown.
The shape and position of switches and indicators may vary by model, but their function remains the same.
Manual On/Off Function & Auto-Restart Function
Manual On/Off Function:
- If the remote controller fails to work or for maintenance, use the emergency button located on the E-box cover of the unit under the front panel.
- For cooling only models: Press once for COOL mode, press again to turn off.
- For cooling and heating models: Press once for COOL mode, press again within 3 seconds for HEAT mode.
Auto-Restart Function:
- The appliance is preset with an auto-restart function.
- In case of a sudden power failure, the unit memorizes the settings before power failure.
- When power is restored, the unit will restart automatically with the previous settings.
Note: The shape and position of the emergency button may vary by model, but its function remains the same.
Remote Controller
The remote controller has various buttons for operating the air conditioner:
- Power Button ⏻: To turn on/off the air conditioner.
- GENTLE WIND: To activate Gentle Wind function.
- MODE: To select operation mode (AUTO, COOL, DRY, FAN, HEAT).
- TEMP UP ⬆️: To increase temperature or time.
- TEMP DN ⬇️: To decrease temperature or time.
- FAN ?️: To adjust fan speed (AUTO, MUTE, LOW, MID-LOW, MID, MID-HIGH, HIGH, TURBO). Press and hold for 5 seconds to switch between Fahrenheit & Celsius.
- I FEEL: To activate the I FEEL function.
- TURBO: To switch on/off TURBO mode.
- GEN: To switch on/off GENERATOR mode.
- TIMER/SLEEP: To switch on/off TIMER and SLEEP modes.
- ECO/DISPLAY: To switch on/off ECO mode and LED display light.
- HEALTH/CLEAN: To switch on/off HEALTH and Auto Clean functions.
- TIMER/SLEEP + ECO/DISPLAY: To switch on/off CHILL WIND and HOT WIND functions.
- ECO/DISPLAY + HEALTH/CLEAN: To switch on/off the 8°C heating function.
- Child Lock ?: Press and buttons together for more than 3 seconds.

Battery Installation & Replacement:
- Remove the battery cover by sliding it.
- Install 2 AAA (1.5V) batteries, observing polarity.
- Reinstall the battery cover.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries. Replace old batteries with new ones of the same type when the display is no longer legible.
- Do not dispose of batteries as unsorted municipal waste.
- It is recommended to keep the remote controller in the designated wall-mounted holder.
Operating Instructions
General Operation: Air is pulled by the fan through the grille, passes through the filter, then is cooled/dehumidified or heated through the heat exchanger. The air outlet direction is motorized by flaps and can be manually adjusted.
Turn ON/Turn OFF: Press the power button ⏻.
Cooling Mode: Press MODE until the ❄️ symbol appears. Use ⬆️ or ⬇️ to set the desired temperature.
Heating Mode: Press MODE until the ☀️ symbol appears. Use ⬆️ or ⬇️ to set the desired temperature. In HEAT mode, the unit may automatically activate a defrost cycle (2-10 minutes).
Dry Mode: Press MODE until the ? symbol appears. This function reduces humidity.
Fan Mode: Press MODE until the ?️ symbol appears. Fan mode circulates air only.
Auto Mode: Press MODE until the ⚙️ symbol appears. The unit automatically selects the run mode based on room temperature.
Fan Speed: Press the FAN button to cycle through AUTO, MUTE, LOW, MID-LOW, MID, MID-HIGH, HIGH, TURBO speeds.
Air Flow Control:
- Normal 4-way air flow: Press ➡️ for horizontal flap swing (up/down), press ⬆️ for vertical deflector swing (left/right). Press again to stop.
- Vector precise air flow: Press and hold ➡️ for 1s for horizontal swing, select angle, hold for 5s to stop. Press and hold ⬆️ for 1s for vertical swing, select angle, hold for 5s to stop.
- Manual adjustment of vertical deflectors is possible when the appliance is switched off. Do not manually position flaps.
Gentle Wind (select models): Press GENTLE WIND button. Vertical louvers close, and airflow is directed through diffused holes for gentle cooling. Available in COOLING mode only.
I FEEL Function: Press I FEEL button. The remote measures room temperature and sends the signal to the unit for optimized temperature. Automatically deactivates after 2 hours.
Turbo Function: Press TURBO button. Operates fast cooling/heating with the highest fan speed.
Generator Mode (select models): Press GEN button to select current percentage (L1: 30%, L2: 50%, L3: 70%). Press GEN until OF appears to cancel.
Sleep Mode: Press and hold SLEEP for 2s. The unit automatically adjusts temperature and fan speed for comfort. After 10 hours, it reverts to previous settings.
ECO Mode: Press ECO button. Conserves energy. Available in COOLING and HEATING modes.
LED Display Light ON/OFF: Press and hold DISPLAY for 2s.
Health Function (select models): Press HEALTH button to activate/exit. Not available when the air conditioner is off.
Self-Clean Function (select models):
- Helps carry away accumulated dirt and bacteria from the evaporator.
- Turn off the air conditioner, press CLEAN button. "CL" is displayed.
- Runs for about 30 minutes.
- Normal to hear noise during this process.
- Recommended ambient temperatures: Indoor unit Temp<86°F, Outdoor unit 41°F<Temp<86°F.
- Enable this function every 3 months.
Chill Wind/Hot Wind Function (select models):
- Cooling mode: Press TIMER/SLEEP + ECO/DISPLAY and hold for 2s for chill wind.
- Heating mode: Press TIMER/SLEEP + ECO/DISPLAY and hold for 2s for hot wind.
- Press both buttons and hold for 2s to exit.
8°C Heating Function (select models):
- Press ECO/DISPLAY + HEALTH/CLEAN and hold for 2s to activate.
- In standby, heats automatically when indoor temp ≤ 8°C. Returns to standby when temp ≥ 18°C.
- Press both buttons and hold for 2s to exit when AC is off.

Note: The unit may not operate immediately after being turned off or changing modes. Wait approximately 3 minutes. Capacity and efficiency are based on full-load operation.
Installation Manual
Selecting the Installation Place:
Indoor Unit:
- Install on a strong wall, not subject to vibrations.
- Ensure inlet and outlet ports are not obstructed for proper airflow.
- Do not install near heat, steam, or flammable gas sources.
- Do not install where exposed to direct sunlight.
- Select a site for easy condensed water drainage and connection to the outdoor unit.
- Check machine operation regularly and reserve necessary spaces.
- Select a place for easy filter removal.
Outdoor Unit:
- Do not install near heat, steam, or flammable gas sources.
- Do not install in windy or dusty places.
- Do not install where people often pass. Ensure air discharge and operating sound do not disturb neighbors.
- Avoid direct sunlight; use protective covering if necessary.
- Reserve spaces for air circulation.
- Install in a safe and solid place.
- Use rubber gaskets if the unit is subject to vibration.
Installation Diagram: Shows placement of indoor and outdoor units with minimum space requirements.
Installation of the Indoor Unit:
- Decide on indoor and outdoor unit positions, considering minimum space.
- Do not install in wet rooms (bathroom, laundry).
- Installation site should be at least 250cm above the floor.
- Mounting Plate Installation: Mount the rear panel horizontally and vertically. Drill 32mm holes, insert anchors, fix the panel with screws. Ensure it can withstand the weight.
- Drilling a Hole for Piping: Make a 65mm hole with a slight downward slant towards the outdoor side. Insert a piping-hole sleeve. Keep the drain pipe sloped downwards.
- Electrical Connections (Indoor Unit): Open front panel, remove cover. Connect wires to screw terminals following numbers. Use appropriate wire size and follow safety codes. Ensure the plug is accessible. Use an efficient ground connection. If the power cable is damaged, contact a Service Center.
Refrigerant Piping Connection:
- Piping can be run in 3 directions. Cut notch if needed.
- Bind copper pipes, drain pipe, and power cables together with tape, drain pipe at the bottom.
- Do not remove pipe caps until connecting.
- Avoid bending or pulling pipes excessively. Do not bend more than three times at one point.
- Straighten rolled pipes by gently unwinding.
- Connections to the indoor unit: Remove pipe cap, insert flare nut, create flange, tighten with two wrenches. For R32/R290, use outdoor mechanical connectors.
Indoor Unit Condensed Water Drainage:
- Place drain hose below piping, ensuring no siphons.
- Drain hose must slant downwards.
- Do not bend, kink, or submerge the drain hose in water. Lag extensions.
- Secure pipes, cables, and drain hose with insulating material.
Installation of the Indoor Unit (Alternative): If piping is embedded or connecting on the wall: Remove bottom plate, hook top of indoor unit, unfold bracket, prop up unit, connect piping/wiring/drainage, replace bracket, secure unit, replace bottom plate.
Installation of the Outdoor Unit:
- Install on a solid wall, fastened securely.
- Decide on position for easy maintenance.
- Fasten support with appropriate screw anchors. Use more anchors than required to prevent vibration.
- Install according to national regulations.
Outdoor Unit Condensed Water Drainage (Heat Pump Models): Fasten drain port in the 25mm hole, connect drain port and pipe. Ensure water drains to a suitable place.
Electrical Connections (Outdoor Unit): Remove handle, connect power cord to terminal board, fix cord with clamp, confirm wire fixing, ensure ground connection, recover handle.
Connecting the Pipes: Screw flare nuts to outdoor unit coupling. Tighten using two wrenches. Ensure correct tightening torque to avoid leakage. Use a fix wrench and torque wrench.

Note: Installation must meet local laws and regulations.
Wiring Diagram: Diagrams are pasted on the indoor unit (under front panel) and outdoor unit (backside of outdoor handle cover). Example wiring shown.
Cable Wires Specification: Table provides wire specifications for different inverter models and capacities.
Air Vacuumizing:
- Use a spanner to remove protective caps from service port, low pressure valve, and high pressure valve.
- Connect manifold gauge hoses to service port and vacuum pump.
- Open low pressure valve, close high pressure valve.
- Operate vacuum pump for 10-15 minutes until vacuum reaches -0.1 MPa (-76 cmHg).
- Close low pressure valve, turn off vacuum pump.
- Hold pressure for 5 minutes; check for rebound.
- Turn low pressure valve counterclockwise to fill refrigerant, then close.
- Check all joints for leakage with soapy water or leak detector.
- Fully open low and high pressure valves.
- Replace protective caps and valve cover.
Bleeding: To remove air and humidity from the refrigerant circulation using a vacuum pump.
- Unscrew and remove caps from 2-way and 3-way valves and service port.
- Connect vacuum pump hose to service port.
- Operate vacuum pump for 10-15 minutes until absolute vacuum of 10 mm Hg is reached.
- With pump running, close low-pressure knob. Stop pump.
- Open 2-way valve by 1/4 turn, close after 10 seconds. Check for leaks.
- Turn 2-way and 3-way valves. Disconnect hose.
- Replace and tighten all caps.
Operation Test:
- Indoor Unit Test: Check ON/OFF, FAN, MODE, set point, TIMER, and lamps. Check flap operation and condensed water drainage.
- Outdoor Unit Test: Check for abnormal noise or vibration. Check if noise, airflow, or drainage disturbs neighbors. Check for coolant leakage.
Note: The electronic controller allows the compressor to start only three minutes after voltage has reached the system.
Maintenance
- Shut down machine and cut off power supply for more than 5 minutes before cleaning.
- Do not flush the air conditioner with water.
- Use a soft dry cloth or wet cloth with neutral detergent. Avoid volatile liquids.
- Clean the filter screen regularly to avoid dust accumulation. Increase frequency in dusty environments.
- Do not touch fins of the indoor unit after removing the filter screen.
Clean the Unit: Wipe with a gentle, damp cloth and dry. Tip: Wipe frequently for appearance.
Disassembly and Assembly of Filter Screen: Grasp the plastic handle, pull the filter screen out. Insert the lower end first, then squeeze the upper end into place.
Clean the Filter Screen: Clean with soapy water and air dry. Tip: Clean regularly for efficiency.
Cleaning of Inner Air Duct: Loosen louver knob, bend outwards. Loosen bottom plate, push downwards. Loosen deflector assembly buckle. Wipe air duct and fan assembly with a clean, wrung wet rag. Clean removed parts with soapy water and air dry. Restore parts.
Service and Maintenance (Long-term storage):
- Take out remote controller batteries and disconnect power supply.
- When starting after long-term shutdown: Clean unit and filter screen. Check for obstacles at air inlets/outlets. Check drain pipe. Install remote controller batteries and check power.
Troubleshooting
Malfunctions and Possible Causes:
- Appliance does not operate: Power failure, damaged fan motor, faulty circuit breaker/protective device/fuses, loose connections, incorrect voltage, active TIMER-ON.
- Strange odor: Dirty air filter.
- Noise of running water: Back flow of liquid in refrigerant circulation.
- Fine mist from air outlet: Occurs in COOLING or DEHUMIDIFYING/DRY modes when room air is very cold.
- Strange noise: Expansion/contraction of front panel due to temperature variations.
- Insufficient airflow, either hot or cold: Unsuitable temperature setting, obstructed intakes/outlets, dirty air filter, fan speed at minimum, heat sources in room, no refrigerant.
- Appliance does not respond to commands: Remote control not close enough, dead batteries, obstacles between remote and receiver, active LIGHT function.
- Display is off: Power failure, uncommon noises, faulty control board/fuses/switches, spraying water, overheated cables/plugs, strong smells.
- Switch off immediately and cut off power supply in the event of: Power failure, uncommon noises, faulty control board, faulty fuses/switches, spraying water/objects, overheated cables/plugs, strong smells.
