Installation Guide
Lomota smart garage door opener is a companion device for your existing garage door opener. Its working principle involves connecting the device to the opener's power and signal terminals.

Download the eWiseHome app and select "Smart Garage Door Opener" to begin.

Power on the device. Open the eWiseHome app and follow the setup wizard for configuration.
Connect the device to your home WiFi using the eWiseHome app.

Connect the sensor cable. Move the sensor to check if it is functional, observing the "OPEN" and "CLOSE" states.

Mount the sensors on the garage door. Ensure the distance between the two sensors is less than 1 inch when the garage door is closed, and they are well separated when the door is open.

You can use the included double-sided adhesive tapes or screws for mounting.
Power off your existing garage door opener. Connect the signal control cable to the two terminals that connect to the wall button. Wire order does not matter.

Deploy the device, recommended on top of your existing garage door opener, using the provided double-sided adhesive tapes if necessary.

Power on both the existing garage door opener and the smart garage door opener. The smart device will automatically reconnect to the Lomota cloud service. Installation is now complete.
How to Use
1. Operation Page
The eWiseHome app's operation page allows control of the garage door:
- Power button: Click to open or close the door.
- Alarm: Set notification, opening time, and PIN code.
- Countdown: Set a countdown timer to close the door.
- Record: Check operation history.
- Timer: Set a schedule for automatic opening or closing.

2. Voice Control
Amazon Alexa Voice Control:
- Add the smart device in the eWiseHome app.
- Rename the device in eWiseHome app for easy recognition by Alexa (e.g., "Garage door").
- Launch the Alexa app, sign in, and ensure you have an Alexa-enabled device (e.g., Echo).
- Navigate to "Skill & Games" in the Alexa app menu.
- Search for "eWiseHome" and tap "Enable".
- Enter your eWiseHome app account and password to link accounts.
Common Alexa commands:
- "Alexa, open garage door."
- "Alexa, close garage door."
- "Alexa, is garage door closed?"

Google Assistant Voice Control:
- Add the smart device in the eWiseHome app.

- On the Google Home app's main page, tap the sidebar menu, select "Home Control".
- Tap the plus sign, search for "eWiseHome".
- Select your country, enter eWiseHome app account and password to link accounts.
Common Google Assistant commands:
- "Hey Google, open garage door."
- "Hey Google, close garage door."
- "Hey Google, is garage door closed?"

Can I manage multiple smart garage door openers within eWiseHome app?
One smart garage door opener is for one garage door only. You can configure multiple smart garage door openers within the app.
What shall I do when my eWiseHome app is unable to control the added smart garage door opener?
Please check the following:
- Verify the main WiFi's internet connection.
- Ensure the main WiFi password has not changed.
- Factory reset the device and try configuring its WiFi again.

Lomota products are covered by a 12-month limited warranty from the original purchase date. For any issues, contact support@lomota.net.
Aftersales service is provided only for products sold by Lomota or its authorized retailers and distributors.
