JABLOTRON JA-111H TRB Bus Module
Interface for Wired Detectors
Introduction
This document is machine-translated from the original English. In case of uncertainty or doubt, please refer to the original version of the document. If you encounter errors or have further questions, please contact technical support (contact information is at the end of this document).
The JA-111H TRB is part of the JABLOTRON system. It is used to connect a wired detector with NC/NO outputs to the control panel's bus. It supplies power to the detector and reports its activation, tampering, and fault status. The module must be installed by a trained technician with a valid certificate issued by an authorized distributor.
Installation
Always switch off the power when connecting the module to the system bus.
The power consumption of the connected detector must not exceed 50 mA (the module's power supply output is not protected against overload).
It is designed to be installed in a standard wired detector (with contact outputs), but thanks to the extended wires, it can also be installed outside the detector in a protected installation box.
- Install the module in a suitable location within the detector or in the protected installation box near the detector. The wire can be extended up to a maximum of 3 meters. When the module is installed inside the detector, ensure it cannot short circuit due to poor insulation.
- Connect the wires to the detector (refer to Figure 1).
- Connect the bus cable and turn on the power to the control panel.
- The control panel must be in service mode.
- Close the detector's cover with the installed module inside.
Figure 1: Description of internal parts and module wire connections
Diagram Description: The diagram shows the internal connections of the JA-111H TRB module. It illustrates a BUS connection with terminals labeled 1 and 2. Terminal 1 is for the BUS connection, and terminal 2 is a production code. There are four wires extending from the module, color-coded red, black, white, and blue, and a yellow wire. The diagram shows these wires connecting to a detector's internal components. The red wire is connected to +12V, the black wire to GND, the white wire to PIR (alarm input), the blue wire to TMP (tamper input), and the yellow wire to TRB (trouble input). A yellow LED is indicated for fault/not enrolled status, and a red LED for activation status.

Wire | Meaning | Function |
---|---|---|
Red | +12 V | Power to detector |
Black | GND | Common wire |
White | INP | Alarm input |
Blue | TMP | Tamper input |
Yellow | TRB | Trouble input |
