A. How to Assemble the Unit
1. Install Batteries
Follow these steps to install batteries:
- To open the battery compartment: Push and press the corner of the clip with your left thumb while pulling down with your right hand.
- Open the battery compartment lid.
- Install the batteries. Ensure the ribbon is positioned behind the batteries for easy removal.
2. Connect Lead Wires and Pads
Connect the lead wires to the device and then connect the pins of the lead wires to the therapy pads. Apply the pads to the treatment area on your body.
B. How to Operate the Unit
Device Unlock
When the screen displays a [lock symbol] ?, press any [unlock] button to activate the device. The device locks automatically if no buttons are pressed for 30 seconds.
Steps to Use Pre-set Modes
Pre-set modes include: P1-P10 (TENS), P12-P21 (EMS), and P23-P32 (Massage).
- Press the 'P' button to select a pre-set mode.
- Use the '▲' / '▼' buttons to increase or decrease intensity.
- Press 'MENU' to cycle through settings, making the waveform indicator flash [flashing].
- Use the '▲' / '▼' buttons to select the desired waveform.
Steps to Use Manual Modes
Manual modes include: P11 (TENS) and P22 (EMS).
- Press the 'P' button to select a manual mode.
- Use the '▲' / '▼' buttons to increase or decrease intensity.
- Press 'MENU' to cycle through settings, making the time indicator flash [flashing].
- Use the '▲' / '▼' buttons to select the treatment time.
- Press 'MENU' again to set waveform, frequency, and pulse width.
- For P22 (EMS mode), follow similar steps. Additionally, users can adjust rise time, action time, fall time, and rest time.
Note on Manual Mode Settings:
- Waveform
- Frequency
- Pulse Width
- Time (including continuous time)
Settings are saved automatically after 5 seconds of inactivity, or by pressing 'MENU' again. Refer to User Manual 1 (page 24) for detailed explanations of rise time, action time, fall time, and rest time.
