Unpacking and Initial Setup
This guide provides instructions for setting up your new LG television. Please follow these steps carefully.
Unpacking the Box
Begin by carefully opening the television's packaging. A person is shown opening a cardboard box, with a warning symbol ⚠️ indicating caution during this process.
Identifying Included Parts
Inside the box, you will find the television, stand components, a bag of screws labeled (M4 x L16), a remote control, and AAA batteries. Please verify all parts are present before proceeding.
Stand Assembly
The assembly process involves attaching the stand to the TV. This typically includes:
- Placing the TV screen-down on a soft, protective surface to prevent scratches.
- Attaching the stand components to the designated mounting points on the back of the TV using the provided screws.
- Once assembled, two people are recommended to safely place the TV on a stable surface like a table.
A detailed sequence shows the TV being placed screen-down, followed by the attachment of stand parts using screws, and finally, the TV being set up by two individuals.
Connecting Your TV
The rear panel of the LG television features several ports for connecting external devices:
- ANTENNA/CABLE IN (x2): For connecting terrestrial or cable TV signals.
- LAN: For wired internet connection.
- OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT: For connecting to audio systems like soundbars or receivers.
- HDMI IN (x2): For connecting devices like Blu-ray players, game consoles, or laptops.
- eARC/ARC: Enhanced Audio Return Channel / Audio Return Channel for audio output to soundbars or AV receivers.
