Important Safety Information: Battery Handling

⚠️ INGESTION HAZARD: This product contains a button cell or coin battery. DEATH or serious injury can occur if ingested. A swallowed button cell or coin battery can cause Internal Chemical Burns in as little as 2 hours.

KEEP new and used batteries OUT OF REACH of CHILDREN. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.

Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations and keep away from children. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate. Even used batteries may cause severe injury or death. Call a local poison control center for treatment information.

Battery type: lithium metal, CR2032.
Nominal battery voltage: 3.0 V

Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 158°F (70°C) or incinerate. Doing so may result in injury due to venting, leakage or explosion resulting in chemical burns.

Ensure the batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -). Do not mix old and new batteries, different brands or types of batteries, such as alkaline, carbon zinc, or rechargeable batteries. Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of batteries from equipment not used for an extended period of time according to local regulations. Always completely secure the battery compartment. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product, remove the batteries, and keep them away from children.

Product Overview

The Timex Ironman Classic 10+ watch is designed for performance and everyday use. It offers a range of features to track your activity, monitor your heart rate, and manage your time.

The Ironman Classic 10+ may ship in 'Sleep Mode' to conserve battery power. To wake the watch, press and hold any button for 2-3 seconds.
Note: Prolonged exposure to salt water and sunlight may result in discoloration over time.

Key Functions and Button Layout

The watch features four side buttons and one dedicated heart rate button:

The sequence of modes is: Time, Workout, Chronograph, Data, Timer, Alarm.

Easy Touch Heart Rate Measurement

Heart rate can be measured using electrodes on the watch's metal case back and Button E. Ensure the watch is worn snugly on your wrist with good skin contact.

To measure your heart rate: In any mode (except setting mode), press and hold Button E (Heart Rate) with your finger for approximately 8-10 seconds. The heart rate icon will flash on the display during measurement.

Guidelines for Measuring Heart Rate:

Heart rate is displayed in BPM (Beats Per Minute) and as a percentage of your maximum heart rate. The maximum pulse is calculated as 220 minus your age.

Heart Rate Alarm

Set heart rate boundaries in Run mode settings (three levels available). You can also manually adjust lower and upper limits in setting mode. If the measured heart rate is outside the set boundary and the alert is on, a beep and flashing icon will appear.

Daily Activity Tracker

The watch tracks your daily Steps, Distance, and Calories burned. You can view records for the previous 7 days.

  1. In Time mode, press Button B to view daily activity data.
  2. Press Button D to activate the 7-day recall function.
  3. Press Button B to recall information day by day.
  4. Press Button D to review specific data (Steps, Distance, Calories) for a selected day.

All activity data resets to zero at 12:00 AM each day.

Time Mode

Press Button C until "TIME" is displayed. This mode shows Hours, Minutes, Seconds, Day of the week, Month, Date, and Day.

Setting the Time and Date:

  1. In Time mode, press and hold Button A to enter Setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
  2. Press Button B or D to change the flashing digits. Press Button C to move to the next setting (Hour, Minute, Second, Year, Month, Date, 12/24 Hour format, Contrast, Units, Gender, Age, Height, Weight).
  3. Press Button B to increase digits, Button D to decrease.
  4. Press and hold Button A to exit setting mode.

Workout Mode

Press Button C until "WORKOUT" is displayed. This mode shows workout time and distance.

Starting and Stopping a Workout:

  1. Press Button B to start measurement. "START" will display.
  2. Press Button B again to stop measurement. "STOP" will display.
  3. Use Button D to cycle through other data views like Speed, Pace, Steps, Calories, Clock, and Distance.
  4. Press and hold Button D to reset all data and prepare for a new measurement.

Workout Setting Mode:

When a workout is stopped, press and hold Button A to enter Workout Setting mode.

You can select Heart Rate Training Levels (1, 2, or 3) for default heart rate zone settings. Your entered 'Age' is used to reference your Max. HR.

Heart Rate Zone Levels (Default Settings):

Press Button C to select the next setting field (Heart Rate Training Level, Hr-Hi, Hr-LO, INZONE Alarm, Target Steps). Use Buttons B and D to adjust settings.

Setting Group Adjustments:

Press and hold Button A to exit setting mode.

Chronograph Mode

Press Button C until "CHRO" is displayed. The display shows "CHRONO" and the elapsed time.

Timer Mode (Loop Timer)

Press Button C until "TIMR" is displayed. This mode shows segments (SG-1 to SG-6), loop counter, and countdown time.

Timer Setting Mode:

  1. In Timer mode, press and hold Button A to enter Loop Timer Setting mode.
  2. Use Button B or D to select SEG 1-6.
  3. Press Button C to set Seconds, then use B or D to adjust.
  4. Press Button C to set Minutes, then use B or D to adjust.
  5. Press Button C to set Hours, then use B or D to adjust.
  6. Press and hold Button A to exit setting mode.

A beep alerts when a timer reaches zero. The next segment loads automatically. The timer has 20 loops and stops automatically.

Daily Alarm Mode

Press Button C until "ALRM" is displayed. "AL-1" and the alarm time are shown.

Alarm Setting Mode:

  1. In Alarm mode, press and hold Button A to enter Alarm Time Setting mode.
  2. Press Button B or D to select AL-1 or AL-2.
  3. Press Button C to select Hour or Minute.
  4. Press Button B or D to change digits.
  5. Press and hold Button A to exit setting mode.

Press any button to silence an active alarm.

INDIGLO® Night-light

Press Button A in any mode to activate the INDIGLO® backlight for 3 seconds, allowing display readability in low light.

Battery Replacement

The button cell or coin battery is not user-replaceable. Replacement should only be performed by a qualified jeweler or professional.
