STOPit Door Stop - TSS HD Series

The TSS HD Series is designed as a perfect solution for heavy exterior doors. It features a heavier 3/4" diameter threaded shaft and a matching 3/4" threaded steel anchor, building upon the features of the TSS 1.00.

STOPit Door Stop - TSS HD Long Shaft Series

This series is ideal for heavy exterior doors with topping slabs or decorative stone pavers. The TSS 1.0 HD with a custom long shaft allows anchoring into the structural slab below the topping slab/stone.

The unit includes a special STOPit installation/removal tool, a stainless steel 3/4" drop anchor, and anti-seize lubricant.

To determine size, measure from the floor to the bottom of the door when the door is in an open position. Available in custom finishes and taller units by special order.

STOPit Door Stop - TSS HD SUNSET 1.00 Series

Designed for exterior doors, the Sunset Door Stop Kit is a 4-piece system that is removable and reusable. It offers safety and reduced liability, as it can be removed at the end of the business day to eliminate exposure to pedestrians.

STOPit TSS HD & TSS HD SUNSET SERIES Installation Directions

These directions are for exterior doors with solid stainless-steel 3/4" diameter threaded shafts with steel anchors.

Diagram Explanation:

Left Diagram (180-degree Installation):
- Y = 1 3/4" over from the 90-degree open door position.
- X = Minimum distance away from the exterior wall is 10".
- Z = Location of stop is a minimum of 2/3 the distance of the door's width from the pivot edge to the anchor's center line. The STOPit is located the width of the handle plus 1/2" away from the wall.
Right Diagram (180-degree Installation):
- A, B, Z = Possible locations for the TSS HD Sunset, within the door swing radius, at a minimum of 2/3 the door's width from the pivot edge, and a minimum distance of 10" from the wall.

The TSS HD Sunset Steel Anchor can be drilled and installed in concrete and stone. Installation instructions are provided with each STOPit TSS HD Sunset.

Determining the size to be used: Consider the grade of sidewalk slope. Measure the distance from the bottom of the door to the ground at the desired open position using the Z,Y,X locations. This distance determines the STOPit HD size.

Example: A distance of 1 1/2" indicates a TSS HD 1.50 should be used. A distance of 1" indicates a TSS HD 1.00 should be used.

Concrete & Stone Floor Installation Steps

Follow these steps for installing STOPit door stops in concrete and stone floors:

Drill hole to required embedment.
Clean hole with pressurized air.
Drive anchor flush with the surface of concrete.
Expand anchor with the appropriate setting tool. The anchor is properly expanded when the shoulder of the setting tool is flush with the top of the anchor.

CAUTION / IMPORTANT: The Door Stop location on the floor must be no further than 1/3 of the width of the door from the latch end.

STOPit TSSWS WALLSTOP SERIES

The TSSWS Wallstop Series offers stainless steel door wallstops with stainless steel fasteners, made in the USA. These are pre-assembled for easy installation and include a stainless-steel fastener and a #3 Impact Rated Installation Tip.

Installation Notes:

TSSWS 1.0 is intended for installation on a wall aligned with the door handle.
TSSWS 1.5 & 2.0 are to be installed close to the floor line to allow the door bottom to make contact with the TSSWS rubber bumper.
All TSSWS models require pre-installed solid wood blocking (minimum of 3/4" thick).

STOPit WFS 1.0 SERIES FOR WOOD FLOORS

The WFS 1.0 Series is designed for wood floors, featuring solid stainless-steel construction. It includes an installation tool, is pre-assembled, and requires a 3/8" pre-drilled pilot hole. Easy to install and made in the USA.

Warranty Statement by STOPit

STOPit warrants to the original purchaser of its solid stainless-steel door stop, and anyone to whom it is transferred, that the STOPit product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product when installed as directed.

STOPit's obligation under this warranty is limited to replacing or repairing the STOPit (or its parts) found to be defective. The claimant must return the STOPit unit to STOPit at 8 Mockingbird Hill Road, Windham, NH, 03087 within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect. STOPit will examine the door stop and correct the problem if a defect attributable to STOPit is found. If the defect cannot be reasonably cured by repair or replacement, STOPit may elect to refund the purchase price, less reasonable depreciation.

This is a limited warranty to the original purchaser and any transferees. STOPit is not liable for consequential or incidental damages for injury to a person and/or property resulting from any defective equipment. The price of the STOPit is in part consideration for limiting STOPit liability. Some states or countries may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages.

STOPit shall have no obligation under this limited warranty if the STOPit has been installed incorrectly, misused, neglected (including failure to provide reasonable maintenance), or if it has been subjected to accidents, repaired, or altered by someone else.
