The indicator light shows battery status:

? Battery Stretch

When the battery level is low, the flashlight automatically adjusts brightness down to 10% to conserve power. When the battery is empty, the light powers off.

? General Maintenance

The tail cap contains two O-rings. Use silicone to keep them well lubricated, especially if the light has not been used for a long time or if the O-rings feel hard. If an O-ring is damaged, broken, or deformed, replace it with a spare. ⚠️ NOTE: Do not use a sharp tool to remove the O-ring.

Operation

▶️ Turning the Flashlight ON/OFF

? Adjusting Brightness

When the light is ON: Press and immediately release the ON/OFF button to cycle through brightness levels (100% -> 50% -> 25%).

Battery Installation

  1. Turn the tail cap counter-clockwise to open.
  2. Insert the 18650 Lithium battery into the tail cap. Note: Align the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the battery with the corresponding terminals inside the tail cap.
  3. Turn the tail cap clockwise to reattach it to the flashlight head.

Battery Charging

  1. Charge the battery using the provided Type-C USB cable.
  2. The power source should be USB (5V Maximum 2A).
  3. When the battery begins to charge, the indicator light on the battery will be ? RED.
  4. When the battery is fully charged, the indicator light will be ? BLUE.

⚠️ Warnings

  1. Only use 18650 Lithium batteries provided by the manufacturer.
  2. Do not open the tail cap while the flashlight is submerged in water.
  3. If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery.

Failure to comply with these warnings may result in damage to the flashlight and will nullify the warranty.

Before returning the flashlight, try the following:

  • Check the O-rings in the tail cap to ensure they are not broken and free of debris that might prevent a proper seal.

Kraken provides a warranty against manufacturer defects for 1 year from the date of purchase. Defects within 15 days of purchase may result in an exchange. Other defects within 1 year will be repaired at no cost. Proof of purchase is required. The warranty does not cover failures due to misuse (e.g., modification, damage), natural disasters, or incorrect battery installation.
