The NR-1000 is a metal-bodied diving flashlight with LED (1000 lumens).

The indicator light shows battery status:
- ? Blue: Battery fully charged.
- ? Green: Battery approximately 50% charged.
- ? Red: Battery charge is low.
- ? flashing Red: Battery very low, light will power off soon.
? Battery Stretch
When the battery level is low, the flashlight automatically adjusts brightness down to 10% to conserve power. When the battery is empty, the light powers off.
? General Maintenance
The tail cap contains two O-rings. Use silicone to keep them well lubricated, especially if the light has not been used for a long time or if the O-rings feel hard. If an O-ring is damaged, broken, or deformed, replace it with a spare. ⚠️ NOTE: Do not use a sharp tool to remove the O-ring.

Operation
▶️ Turning the Flashlight ON/OFF
- Turn ON: Turn the tail cap clockwise until it is tight against the head. Press and hold the ON/OFF button (located on the head) for one second. The default mode is 100% brightness.
- Turn OFF: Press and hold the ON/OFF button for two seconds.
? Adjusting Brightness
When the light is ON: Press and immediately release the ON/OFF button to cycle through brightness levels (100% -> 50% -> 25%).
? SOS Mode
- Turn ON SOS: When the light is OFF, press and hold the ON/OFF button for three seconds.
- Switching Modes (Blink/SOS/Strobe): When the light is in SOS mode, press and immediately release the ON/OFF button to cycle through Blink, SOS, and Strobe modes.
- Turn OFF SOS: When the light is in SOS mode, press and hold the ON/OFF button for two seconds.

Battery Installation
- Turn the tail cap counter-clockwise to open.
- Insert the 18650 Lithium battery into the tail cap. Note: Align the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the battery with the corresponding terminals inside the tail cap.
- Turn the tail cap clockwise to reattach it to the flashlight head.
Battery Charging
- Charge the battery using the provided Type-C USB cable.
- The power source should be USB (5V Maximum 2A).
- When the battery begins to charge, the indicator light on the battery will be ? RED.
- When the battery is fully charged, the indicator light will be ? BLUE.
⚠️ Warnings
- Only use 18650 Lithium batteries provided by the manufacturer.
- Do not open the tail cap while the flashlight is submerged in water.
- If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery.
Failure to comply with these warnings may result in damage to the flashlight and will nullify the warranty.

Kraken provides a warranty against manufacturer defects for 1 year from the date of purchase. Defects within 15 days of purchase may result in an exchange. Other defects within 1 year will be repaired at no cost. Proof of purchase is required. The warranty does not cover failures due to misuse (e.g., modification, damage), natural disasters, or incorrect battery installation.
