This product is for floor cleaning in a home environment only. Do not use it outdoors, on non-floor surfaces, or in a commercial or industrial se ing. Usage Restrictions · This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. · The appliance is only to be used with the power supply unit provided with the appliance. · This appliance contains ba eries that are only replaceable by skilled persons. · If the pins of the plug parts are damaged, the plug-in power supply shall be scrapped. · A hazard may occur if the appliance runs over the supply cord. · Please keep the cleaning brush out of reach of children. · Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts. 01 · Do not use the robot vacuum to clean any burning substances. · Do not pick up the robot vacuum by its laser radar cover. · Make sure the robot vacuum is turned off and the power supply is unplugged before cleaning or performing maintenance. · This robot vacuum is only intended to clean floors in a home environment. Do not use it outdoors such as on an open balcony or on a surface that is not a floor, like a sofa, or in a commercial or industrial se ing. · Do not use the robot vacuum in an area suspended above ground level, such as a lo , open balcony, or on top of furniture, unless a protective barrier is present. · Do not use the robot vacuum at an ambient temperature above 40°C or below 0°C or on a floor with liquids or sticky substances. · Pick up any cables from the floor before using the robot vacuum to prevent it from dragging them while cleaning. · Pick up any fragile or loose items from the floor, such as vases or plastic bags, to prevent the robot vacuum from being obstructed or bumping into them and causing damage. · Do not place children, pets, or any item on top of the robot vacuum while it is stationary or moving. · Do not use the mopping function on the carpet. 02 · Do not allow the robot vacuum to pick up hard or sharp objects such as building materials, glass, or nails. · Do not spray any liquid into the robot vacuum. Make sure the 2-in-1 dust compartment with water tank is thoroughly dry before its reinstalling. · Do not place the robot vacuum upside down. Laser radar housing should never touch the ground. · Only use this product as directed in the user manual. Please avoid direct eye contact with it during use. If you come into physical contact with any substance that may leak out of the ba ery, rinse the contact area with plenty of water and seek medical a ention immediately. · Do not expose the appliance or ba ery to excessive temperatures. · Be aware of the risk of terminals of the ba ery-operated appliance or ba ery being short-circuited by metal objects. · Do not place the charging dock near a heat source. · Do not use a wet cloth or wet hands to wipe or clean the dock's charging contacts. · If the robot vacuum will not be used for an extended period, fully charge it, then turn it off and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge the robot vacuum at least once every 3 months to avoid over-discharging the ba ery. 04 · The lithium-ion ba ery pack contains substances that are hazardous to the environment. Before disposing of the robot vacuum, please first remove the ba ery pack, then discard, or recycle it in accordance with local laws and regulations of the country or region it is used in. · The ba ery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped. · The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains when removing the ba ery. · The ba ery is to be disposed of safely. · When removing the ba eries from the product, it is be er to use up the ba eries and make sure your product is disconnected from power. 1). Uninstall the screw on the bo om, then remove the cover. 2). Unplug the ba ery connector, then remove the ba eries. Do not damage the ba ery case to avoid any risk of injuries. 3). Remove the protective strips. 3. Remove the protective film from the charging dock, place the dock against a wall, and connect it to power. 2. Install the side brush. Take out the side brush, and install it onto the position as illustrated. The side brush is properly installed when you hear a "click". 0.5 m 1.5 m 0.5 m Connect the power adapter to the charging dock CAUTIONS: · Do not expose the charging dock to direct sunlight. · Do not place any objects within 0.5 meters on either side of the charging dock and 1.5 meters in front of it. 4. Charge the robot vacuum. Place the robot vacuum on the charging dock for charging. Notes: · To ensure the ba ery's optimal performance, fully charge the ba ery for the first time before use. · Place the robot vacuum on the charging dock and make sure their charging contacts are aligned. The robot vacuum will automatically turn on and cannot be turned off while charging. 08 Connecting with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home App This product works with the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app*. Use the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app to control your device, and to interact with other smart home devices. Scan the QR code to download and install the app. You will be directed to the connection setup page if the app is installed already. Or search for "Mi Home/Xiaomi Home" in the app store to download and install it. 76719DE8 Open the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, tap "+" on the upper right, and then follow the instructions to add your device. * The app is referred to as Xiaomi Home app in Europe (except for Russia). The name of the app displayed on your device should be taken as the default. Notes: · Only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks are supported. · The version of the app might have been updated, please follow the instructions based on the current app version. · When the robot vacuum connects with the Xiaomi Home app successfully, it connects with the network successfully. You can have a reset of Wi-Fi to disconnect it from the network. Issue The robot vacuum cannot connect to Wi-Fi. Rese ing the Wi-Fi While the robot vacuum is turned on, press and hold the bu ons and for 7 seconds. The Wi-Fi is successfully reset when you hear a voice prompt. Rese ing the system Press and hold the bu on for 5 seconds until you hear a "beep", and then press and hold the bu on for 5 seconds again until you hear the voice prompt. The robot vacuum then restarts, and se ings like scheduled cleaning and Wi-Fi are restored to factory defaults. 09 Solution · Check whether the Wi-Fi password is correct. · The robot vacuum does not support the 5 GHz network frequency band, please connect it to a 2.4 GHz network. · Ensure the robot vacuum is in an area with good Wi-Fi coverage, then reset its Wi-Fi and reconnect it to the network. · There is something wrong with the Wi-Fi connection. Reset the Wi-Fi and download the latest version of the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, then try reconnecting. How to Use Quick mapping A er the robot vacuum connects with the app for the first time, follow the instructions in the app to quickly create a map, and the robot vacuum will start mapping without cleaning. Once it has returned to the charging dock, the mapping process is completed and the map is saved automatically. Preparation before mapping: · Ensure the robot vacuum has been fully charged and starts from the charging dock. · Open the doors of the rooms to be mapped, follow the robot vacuum throughout the whole process, and remove the items that may prevent the robot vacuum from accurately mapping. · It is recommended to block areas where the robot vacuum may get stuck or be scraped, and other areas unsuitable for it to enter. Se ing up virtual walls or restricted areas a er mapping: · It is recommended to set up virtual walls or restricted areas in areas where the robot vacuum may get stuck or be scraped, and other areas unsuitable for it to enter. · Set up virtual walls or restricted areas to exclude carpeted areas before mopping to prevent the carpet from ge ing wet. · It is recommended to set up virtual walls or restricted areas in areas with long-hair or fringe carpets to prevent entanglement with the robot vacuum. Starting vacuuming & mopping 1. Press and hold the 2-in-1 water tank release bu on to remove the water tank. Open its lid, fill it with clean water, and then close the lid. Open the lid and fill with water 2-in-1 Water Tank Release Bu on CAUTIONS: · When filling the 2-in-1 water tank with water, adding liquid such as hot water, detergents, or disinfectants is strictly forbidden. Otherwise, the robot vacuum could be damaged. · The functions of the robot vacuum are tested before leaving the factory, so there may be some water residues in it. This is normal. 2. Install the mop assembly onto the 2-in-1 water tank as illustrated. 10 3. Insert the 2-in-1 water tank with the mop assembly into the robot vacuum as illustrated. It is properly installed when you hear a "click". Press the bu on to start vacuuming and mopping. 1 2 CAUTION: Remove the 2-in-1 water tank and empty it promptly a er a mopping task has been completed. Then clean and dry the mop pad to prevent odor and mildew. To only use the vacuuming function, remove the mop assembly. Pause When the robot vacuum is running, press any bu on to pause. Press the bu on to resume cleaning. Note: The robot vacuum will enter sleep mode a er being paused or on standby for 10 minutes. Press any bu on to wake it up. Adding water or cleaning the mop pad When the robot vacuum is working, pause it then remove the 2-in-1 water tank to add water or clean the mop pad. Then reinstall it, and press the bu on to resume the task. Docking During its working, press the bu on to pause the robot vacuum, and press the bu on again to start docking. When the robot vacuum is in standby mode and not connected to the charging dock, press the bu on to start docking. When a task is completed or its ba ery is low, the robot vacuum automatically returns to the dock to charge. DND mode In the do not disturb (DND) mode, the robot vacuum does not resume cleanup, perform scheduled cleanups, or play voice prompts, and the indicator of the vacuum turns off a er 10 seconds of charging. The DND mode can be enabled or disabled in the app. Note: Please refer to the app for more functions. Details of each function are subject to the app. 11 Care & Maintenance Cleaning the 2-in-1 water tank and filter 1. Remove the 2-in-1 water tank, open the water tank lid and the dust compartment cover to empty the contents, and then clean the 2-in-1 water tank with the cleaning brush. Cleaning the mop pad Remove the mop pad from its holder, then wash and dry it. CAUTIONS: · Do not rinse or soak the 2-in-1 water tank. · Regularly clean the 2-in-1 water tank to avoid dirt affecting the cleaning performance. 2. Remove the filter and clean it with the cleaning brush. Cleaning sensors and charging contacts Clean all sensors and charging contacts with a so cloth every 3 months. Cliff Sensor Charging Contact Note: The filter can be rinsed with water. Make sure it is completely dry before re-installation. Frequent rinses are not suggested. Laser Distance Sensor Infrared Recharge Sensor 12 Cleaning the side brush and brush 1. Pull out the side brush upwards. 2. Press brush cover clips to remove the brush cover, take out the brush, and pull out the brush bearing. 3. Use the cleaning brush to clean the side brush and brush. 4. A er cleaning, reinstall the brush bearing, brush, brush cover, and side brush in order. The robot vacuum does not start cleaning. Possible Cause and Solution The ba ery level is low. Fully charge the robot vacuum and try again. The ambient temperature is too low (below 0°C) or too high (above 40°C). The ba ery level is low. Fully charge the robot vacuum and try again. 13 Issue The robot vacuum does not resume cleanup. The robot vacuum does not return to the charging dock. The robot vacuum does not charge. The robot vacuum behaves abnormally. The robot vacuum does not perform scheduled cleanups. The robot vacuum keeps going offline. Possible Cause and Solution Make sure the robot vacuum is not set to DND mode. Under this mode, pressing the dock bu on on the robot vacuum, tapping the dock bu on in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, or moving the robot vacuum back to the charging dock will not resume cleanup. There are too many obstructions around the charging dock. Place the charging dock in a more open area. The robot vacuum is too far away from the charging dock. Move it closer to the charging dock and try again. Make sure there is enough open space around the charging dock and its charging contacts are clean and unblocked. The ambient temperature is too low (below 0°C) or too high (above 40°C). Turn off the robot vacuum and then restart it. Make sure the robot vacuum is connected to the network, otherwise it cannot synchronize time and perform the scheduled cleanups. Make sure the robot vacuum is not set to DND mode. The DND mode will prevent the robot vacuum from performing scheduled cleanups. Make sure the robot vacuum is connected to the network and stays within range of Wi-Fi at all times. Issue The robot vacuum makes strange noises while cleaning. The robot vacuum no longer cleans efficiently or leaves dust behind. Possible Cause and Solution A foreign object might be caught in the brush, side brush, or the le /right wheel. Turn off the robot vacuum and remove any debris if any. The dust compartment is full. Clean it and try again. The filter is blocked. Clean it and try again. A foreign object has been caught in the brush. Clean it and try again. Troubleshooting When the robot vacuum malfunctions, it may issue voice prompts. Please refer to the information below for timely resolution. Error Prompt Make sure the 2-in-1 water tank is installed properly. Make sure the mop pad is installed properly. Possible Cause and Solution Make sure the 2-in-1 water tank is securely installed. Make sure the mop pad holder and mop pad are securely installed. 14 Specifications Error Prompt Place the robot vacuum on a horizontally flat floor surface and start it. Couldn't return to the dock to charge, please move the robot vacuum to the charging dock. Remove any obstacles around the robot vacuum and try again. Make sure the laser distance sensor is not blocked before starting the robot vacuum. Please wipe the cliff sensors clean. Move the robot vacuum to a new place and restart it. Check and remove any foreign objects from the collision sensors. Possible Cause and Solution The robot vacuum is tilted at startup. Move it to a horizontally flat floor and restart it. You can also reset the level of the robot vacuum in the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, then turn it off and restart it. Manually place the robot vacuum onto the charging dock and check if the charging dock is connected to power. The robot vacuum may be caught or stuck. Clear away any obstructions around it. Clear any foreign objects that may block or obstruct the laser distance sensor, or move the robot vacuum to a new place and restart it. Part of the robot vacuum may be off the ground, re-position the robot vacuum and restart it. Or, the cliff sensors may be dirty, wipe them clean. The collision sensors may be stuck. Gently tap them several times to remove any foreign objects. If nothing falls out, move the robot vacuum to a different place and restart it.
