SatTalk SatTalk, manufactured by Icarus Instruments, is a general aviation accessory for the Motorola 9505 Phone. SatTalk allows satellite telephone communications from the cockpit or cabin of any aircraft at any altitude, anywhere in the world. SatTalk's unique design allows the 9505 Phone to be easily removed for portable use off of the aircraft.
SatTalk is available in two models:
· The cockpit model uses the pilot's existing headset and features automatic hands-free switching between satellite and Air Traffic Control communications.
· The cabin model allows passengers to place and receive satellite calls using a lightweight handset.
Professional installation of the included antenna is recommended.
The Motorola 9505 Portable Phone is sold separately.
Motorola 9520 Mobile Phone The Motorola 9520 Mobile Phone is a full-featured, permanently installed Iridium satellite phone, powered by your vehicle's battery. Hands-free speakerphone operation, privacy handset and virtually unlimited talk time make this an invaluable product for those who spend extended periods of time in a vehicle.
Can also be used in boating, railroad and other applications where 12 DC power is available. Requires an externally mounted antenna.
