Lifting and Moving the TV
Please follow these guidelines to prevent the TV from being scratched or damaged during transportation:
- It is recommended to move the TV in its original box or packing material.
- Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.
- When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to prevent damage.
- Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Avoid holding the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.
- For large TVs, at least two people are required for transport.
- When transporting the TV by hand, hold it as shown in the illustration (Diagram: Shows correct grip points on the TV frame, emphasizing holding the frame edges and avoiding the screen or speaker).
- Do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration during transport.
- Keep the TV upright; never turn it on its side or tilt it left or right.
- Do not apply excessive pressure that could cause flexing or bending of the frame chassis, as this may damage the screen.
- When handling the TV, be careful not to damage protruding buttons.
- Avoid touching the screen at all times to prevent damage.
- When attaching the stand, place the screen face down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches.
Mounting on the Table
- Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table. Leave at least 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation. (Diagram: Shows a TV on a stand with 10 cm clearance indicated around it for ventilation.)
- Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.
- Do not apply foreign substances (oils, lubricants, etc.) to screw parts during assembly, as this may damage the product.
- If installing the TV on a stand, take measures to prevent overturning, which could cause injury.
- Use only unapproved items to ensure safety and product lifespan. Damage or injuries caused by unapproved items are not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
- Ensure screws are inserted and fastened securely. If not, the TV may tilt forward. Do not overtighten screws, as they may be damaged and not tighten correctly.
- If a television is not positioned stably, it can be hazardous due to falling. Many injuries, especially to children, can be avoided by taking simple precautions:
- Use cabinets or stands recommended by the manufacturer.
- Use furniture that can safely support the television.
- Ensure the TV does not overhang the edge of the supporting furniture.
- Do not place the TV on tall furniture (e.g., cupboards, bookcases) without anchoring both the furniture and the TV to a suitable support.
- Do not place the TV on cloth or other materials between the TV and supporting furniture.
- Educate children about the dangers of climbing on furniture to reach the TV or its controls.
Securing TV to the Wall
- Insert and tighten eye-bolts or TV brackets and bolts on the back of the TV. If bolts are already present, remove them first.
- Mount the wall brackets to the wall, aligning them with the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.
- Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope, ensuring the rope remains horizontal. (Diagram: Shows a TV mounted on a wall with eye-bolts and brackets, connected by a rope.)
- Use a platform or cabinet strong and large enough to support the TV securely.
- Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided. Obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.
Mounting to the Wall
Attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV and install it on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. For installation on other building materials, contact qualified personnel.
