2 Preparing

Lifting and Moving the TV

Please follow these guidelines to prevent the TV from being scratched or damaged during transportation:

Mounting on the Table

  1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table. Leave at least 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation. (Diagram: Shows a TV on a stand with 10 cm clearance indicated around it for ventilation.)
  2. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Securing TV to the Wall

  1. Insert and tighten eye-bolts or TV brackets and bolts on the back of the TV. If bolts are already present, remove them first.
  2. Mount the wall brackets to the wall, aligning them with the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.
  3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope, ensuring the rope remains horizontal. (Diagram: Shows a TV mounted on a wall with eye-bolts and brackets, connected by a rope.)

Mounting to the Wall

Attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV and install it on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. For installation on other building materials, contact qualified personnel. LG recommends professional installation and the use of LG's wall mount bracket for easy cable management. If using a non-LG bracket, ensure it securely fastens the device to the wall with adequate space for external device connectivity. Connect all cables before installing fixed wall mounts.

(Diagram: Shows 10 cm clearance around the TV mounted on a wall.)

6 Troubleshooting

IssuePossible Solutions
Cannot control the TV with the remote control.
  • Check the remote control sensor on the product and try again.
  • Ensure there are no obstacles between the product and the remote control.
  • Check if batteries are working and properly installed (e.g., to, to).
No image display and no sound is produced.
  • Check if the product is turned on.
  • Check if the power cord is connected to a wall outlet.
  • Check the wall outlet by connecting other products.
  • Check power control settings; the power supply may be interrupted.
  • Check if the auto-off function is activated.
  • If there is no signal while the TV is on, it will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.
The TV turns off suddenly.
  • Turn the TV off/on using the remote control.
  • Reconnect the HDMI cable.
  • Restart the PC with the TV on.
When connecting to the PC (HDMI), no signal is detected.
  • If the product feels cold to the touch, a "flicker" upon turning on is normal and indicates no product issue.
Abnormal Display
  • Pixel Variations: This panel contains millions of pixels. Tiny black dots and/or brightly colored dots (red, blue, green) at a size of 1 ppm may appear. This is not a malfunction and does not affect performance or reliability. This phenomenon also occurs in third-party products and is not subject to exchange or refund.
  • Brightness/Color Differences: You may notice different brightness and color depending on your viewing position (left/right/top/down). This is due to panel characteristics and is not a malfunction.
  • Image Sticking: Displaying a still image for a prolonged period may cause image sticking. Avoid displaying fixed images for extended durations.
Generated Sound
  • "Cracking" Noise: This noise, occurring when watching or turning off the TV, is caused by plastic thermal contraction due to temperature and humidity. It is common in products where thermal deformation occurs.
  • Electrical Circuit Humming/Panel Buzzing: Low-level noise from high-speed switching circuits is normal and varies by product. This generated sound does not affect performance or reliability.
