Yealink Batch Deployment Guide
This guide details the process of configuring Wi-Fi networks and deploying settings to multiple Yealink IP handsets efficiently using the batch deployment feature.
Step 1/2: Connecting to Wi-Fi Network
Before proceeding with batch deployment, you must configure the Wi-Fi network on one handset, referred to as Handset A. 3. Scan the QR Code displayed on Handset A from your mobile phone.
3.1. Use a mobile phone (Android/iOS) to scan the Quick Wi-Fi Connect QR code. The mobile phone browser will open the Wi-Fi network configuration page.
3.2. Configure the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password on the mobile phone, and then tap Confirm. 3.3. If the connection fails, press Reconnect on Handset A and try again. 2. Do one of the following:Scenario 1: Handset A is brand new or restored to factory settings
Scenario 2: Change to a new environment
Step 2/2: Batch Deployment
Once Handset A is connected to Wi-Fi, you can use the batch deployment feature to deploy settings to the remaining handsets quickly.
Procedure
- On Handset A, press the [OK Button] key > Wi-Fi > Batch Deployment.
- Set the Hotspot to On.
The default Hotspot SSID is Axseies_deploy
, and the Hotspot Password is AXseries@8!
.
- Press Save. At this point, Handset A starts providing a hotspot for external connections.
- The Wi-Fi configurations of Handset A are being synchronized in batch to other handsets.
- Other handsets: They will automatically connect to the preset hotspot and also support manual hotspot connection.
- Handset A: It automatically synchronizes its own Wi-Fi configuration information to the AX series handsets that are connected to the deployed hotspot.
- After successfully obtaining the Wi-Fi configuration, if there is a corresponding Wi-Fi network in the environment, the deployment hotspot will be automatically disconnected, and the available Wi-Fi network will be successfully connected.
