Product Diagram

The keyboard features a full QWERTY layout with a trackpad below the spacebar. Key indicators include:

• Battery Indicator

1. Bluetooth Pairing

Step 1: Turn on the keyboard by sliding the power switch to the 'ON' position. Press and hold the fn + Del keys simultaneously. The Bluetooth indicator will blink blue, indicating pairing mode.

Step 2: On your iPad, navigate to Settings > Bluetooth, turn on Bluetooth. The 'Inateck KB04122' will appear under 'Other Devices'.

Step 3: Tap 'Inateck KB04122' to pair. The Bluetooth indicator will turn off once paired.

Note: Setting up your iPad

• Go to Settings > General > Trackpad and adjust the tracking speed slider to the middle.
• Enable 'Tap to Click' and 'Two Finger Secondary Click' in Settings > General > Trackpad.
• Turn off 'Assistive Touch' in Settings > Accessibility > Touch.
• Enable 'Four and Five Finger Swipe' in Settings > General > Gestures.

Optional Settings

• To disable Caps Lock from changing keyboard language: Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and turn off 'Switch Languages using Caps Lock'.
• To disable the double-tap period shortcut: Go to Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware Keyboard and enable the '.' Shortcut.

Fixing Bluetooth Pairing Problems

1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth, find 'Inateck KB04122' in 'My Devices', tap the info icon (i), and select 'Forget This Device'. Clear all pairing records if multiple exist.
2. Press and hold esc + ↑ simultaneously for 3 seconds. The three indicators will blink three times to confirm the factory reset.

• Drag: Click and hold an item, then move it to another location with another finger.
• Scroll: Slide two fingers up or down.
• Swipe: Swipe left or right with two fingers.
• Secondary click: Click or tap with two fingers.

• App Exposé: Swipe up with three fingers and pause.
• Show desktop: Swipe up with three fingers.
• Swipe between full-screen apps: Swipe left or right with three fingers.

4. LED Indicator

5. Restore Factory Defaults

Press and hold esc + ↑ simultaneously for 3 seconds. The three indicators will blink 3 times to confirm the factory reset.

6. Check Battery Level

Press and hold fn + cmd simultaneously. The battery level is indicated by the blinking frequency of the red battery indicator:

• Once: 0-25%
• Twice: 25%-50%
• Three Times: 50%-75%
• Four Times: 75%-100%

7. Charging

When the battery level is below 20%, the battery indicator will blink red. Recharge the keyboard promptly. The recommended charging voltage and current are 5V and 250mA. Connect the included USB cable to a cellphone charger or a computer's USB port. The keyboard will fully charge in 2-3 hours. The indicator stays red while charging and turns green when fully charged.

8. Sleep Mode

If the KB04122 is left idle for 10 minutes, it will enter sleep mode, disrupting the Bluetooth connection. Press any key to reconnect. Note: Tapping the trackpad will not wake the keyboard.
