Welcome to your new Magcubic HY310X projector.

Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before you use this device. Do not make any changes or create settings that are not described in this manual. If physical damage, loss of data or damage is caused by failure to follow instructions, the warranty does not apply.

  1. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the device to rain or moisture. Objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should not be placed on this device.
  2. Do not place this device on soft surfaces such as tablecloths or carpets, otherwise the device could be a fire hazard.
  3. Do not place this device in areas susceptible to excessive dust and dirt or near any appliance generating a strong magnetic field.
  4. To prevent overheating, do not block or clog the ventilation holes.
  5. Never place this device in a confined space. Always leave enough space around this device for ventilation.
  6. Protect this device from overexposure to direct sunlight, heat, large temperature fluctuations and moisture. Avoid extreme temperatures.
  7. When this device is running for a long period of time, the surface may become hot. Shut it down immediately and unplug the charger. Resume operation after this device has cooled down.
  8. Always handle this device with care. Avoid touching the lens. Do not allow children to handle the device without supervision.
  9. Use attachments or accessories specified by the manufacturer only.
  10. Avoid extreme vibration as it may damage the internal components.

Overview

This section provides a general view of the projector and its ports.

Device Description: The projector features a compact design with a lens on the front. Ports are located on the back.

Ports:

  • HDMI Input: For connecting video sources. [HDMI Input]
  • 3.5mm Stereo Jack: For audio output.
  • USB Input: For media playback or accessories. [USB Input]
  • IR Receiver: For the remote control. [IR Receiver]
  • Power Socket: For connecting the power adapter. [Power Socket]

Power Button: Located on the device, marked 'On / Off'. [Power Button]

Tips for Best Performance

Blurry Image

If the image appears blurry, follow these steps:

  • Go to Settings > Display > Auto Keystone Correction. Turn on Auto Keystone Correction or manually adjust the image using Manual Keystone settings.
  • Press the focus button on the remote control to achieve the best clarity.

Remote Control

The remote control allows you to operate the projector wirelessly.

Buttons:

  • Power On/Off: Turns the projector on or off. [Power Button]
  • Far Focus / Near Focus: Adjusts the image focus. [Focus Minus], [Focus Plus]
  • Arrow Keys: Navigate menus. [Arrow Keys]
  • Return: Go back to the previous screen. [Return Icon]
  • Mute: Mutes or unmutes audio. [Mute Icon]
  • Switch Mouse Control: Toggles mouse control mode. [Mouse Control Icon]
  • Confirm Key / OK: Selects an option or confirms a setting. [Confirm Key]
  • Menu: Accesses the main menu. [Menu Icon]
  • Home: Returns to the home screen. [Home Icon]
  • Volume adjustment: Controls the audio volume. [Volume Down Icon], [Volume Up Icon]

Attention for Remote Control Usage:

  1. Do not submerge the remote control in water.
  2. Do not place the remote control near fire or in wet or hot places.
  3. Do not use old and new batteries together in the remote control.
  4. Please remove the batteries if not using the remote control for a long time to avoid battery leakage.
  5. Please point the remote control toward the IR receiver on the projector.
  6. Please use the remote control within 6 meters distance and a 30-degree angle.

Settings

Access and configure various settings for your projector.

Networking Settings

Connect to your wireless network or set up a hotspot.

Navigate to: Settings > Network Settings > Wireless Network/Hotspot settings.

Options include: Wi-Fi Switch, Add Network, Refresh Network, and selecting available networks like "HTC 5G_HZC15", "Asus RT-AC87U-5GHz", "短信认证测试5G", "DIRECT-EL hocast bf6b".

Bluetooth Setting

Pair your projector with Bluetooth devices.

Navigate to: Settings > Bluetooth Settings. Turn on Bluetooth Switch to search and pair devices.

Options include searching for Bluetooth devices and viewing paired or available devices like "BT06" and "T13".

Projection Settings

Configure display and projection parameters.

Navigate to: Settings > Projector setting > Display Settings.

Options include: Installation Mode, Digital Zoom, Screen Zoom, Auto Keystone Correction, Auto Focus, Initial Angle Correction, Manual Keystone, Reset Keystone Correction.

Application Settings

Access and manage installed applications.

Navigate to: Settings > All applications. Enter to access App Store, Music, Play Store, Screen Cast, and Office Suite.

Language and Keyboard

Set up the projector's language and input method.

Navigate to: Settings > Language and keyboard. Select language settings (e.g., "United States English") and input method settings (e.g., "English (US) - Android Keyboard (AOSP)").

Date and Time Settings

Configure the date, time, and time zone.

Navigate to: Settings > Date and time settings. Options include: Automatic time, Date, Time, Time zone (e.g., "GMT-06:00, Central Standard Time"), and Use 24-hour format.

About

View device information and system details.

Navigate to: Settings > About. View details such as:

Other Settings

Configure additional system preferences.

Navigate to: Settings > Other Setting. Options include:

  • External Input at Boot: Set default input source.
  • Button Sound: Enable or disable button click sounds.
  • Screen Saver: Configure screen saver settings (e.g., "Twenty minutes").
  • Scheduled Power Off: Set a timer for automatic shutdown.
  • Restore Factory Settings: Reset the device to default settings.
  • Account: Manage user accounts.

Screen Cast

Mirror your device screen to the projector.

Navigate to: Settings > Application Settings > Screen Cast. Open Screen Cast service, turn on phone mirroring, and connect.

Supported protocols include: Miracast, AirPlay, Wired, Apple Wired.
