Overview

The GW100X headphones feature the following controls and ports:

  • Power / Action Button: ⏻ [power button]
  • Volume Up / Action Button: ➕ [plus button]
  • Volume Down / Action Button: ➖ [minus button]
  • Charging Light: ? [charging light indicator]
  • Line-In Port: (For wired connection)
  • Mic: (Built-in microphone)
  • USB-C Charging Port: ? [USB port]

Power

  • Power On / Off: Long press the ⏻ [power button].
  • Battery Saver: If unpaired for 10 minutes, the GW100X will power off automatically.
  • Charging Light Indicators:
    • ? Blue: Fully Charged
    • ? Blue: Powered On
    • ? Red: Charging
    • ? Red: Low Battery
  • Charging: Plug the provided USB-C cable into the charging port and connect the other end to a compatible USB port of a computer or wall charger.

Connect (Bluetooth Pairing)

  • Initiate Pairing: From the off state, long press the ⏻ [power button] until the charging light flashes blue and red.
  • On Your Device: Navigate to settings and turn on Bluetooth.
  • Pair: After a few seconds, you will see "Grado GW100". Tap to pair.
  • Multi-Device Connection: When the paired device's Bluetooth is turned off or out of range, the GW100X can connect to a second device.
  • Pairing Indicator: Blue & Red flashing: Ready to Pair.

Phone / Voice Controls

  • ⏻ [power button]:
    • Short Press: Answer / Hang Up Call
    • Long Press: Reject Call
    • Double Press: Activate Voice Assistant
  • ➕ [plus button]:
    • Short Press: Increase Volume
  • ➖ [minus button]:
    • Short Press: Decrease Volume

Music / Volume Controls

  • ⏻ [power button]:
    • Short Press: Play / Pause Music
  • ➕ [plus button]:
    • Short Press: Increase Volume
    • Long Press: Next Song
  • ➖ [minus button]:
    • Short Press: Decrease Volume
    • Long Press: Previous Song

  • If misused or damaged, the battery can become compromised, potentially leading to extreme heat, smoke, or fire. If the battery is damaged, stop usage immediately.
  • Grado Labs cannot guarantee headphones will continue working as intended if serviced by a third party, and this will void the warranty. Please contact Grado Labs for any service requests.
