CARBEST BT Module 851007

Function

The CARBEST BT Module is an accessory for the CARBEST MPPT Solar Charge Controllers 851005 and 851006. It enables the controller to send its working parameters to your mobile phone via Bluetooth. To use this feature, download the free ChargerConnect app.

Connection Method

Plug the cable of the BT module into the Bluetooth interface of the solar controller and install the module in a location with easy access. Note: The BT module should not be shielded by a metal housing. Maintain a distance of less than 10 meters between the module and your phone.

App Operation Instruction

Connection is exclusively through the ChargerConnect app. Direct pairing via your smartphone's Bluetooth function is not possible.

1. Scan the QR code to download and install the app on your smartphone.
   • Mobile phone requirements: Android version 5.0 or higher; iOS version 4.0 or higher.
2. Ensure that 'Location' and 'Bluetooth' functions are enabled on your smartphone.
3. Open the app, search for 'BT10', and connect to the device.
4. The working parameters of your MPPT Solar Charge Controller will now be displayed.

Notices

1. Connection is only possible via the app. The app will automatically search for Bluetooth devices when open.
2. Only one phone can be connected to a BT module at a time. A second phone can initiate pairing only after the first phone has exited the app and disconnected Bluetooth.
3. Some phones may require multiple attempts to establish a successful connection.

A diagram illustrates the setup with the BT Module (#851007), a smartphone connected via Bluetooth, and an optional temperature sensor (#851004). It also shows the MPPT Solar Charge Controller (#851005 / #851006).
