Product Overview
The Philips Bodygroom is designed for body hair trimming and shaving. It comes with various comb attachments for different hair lengths.
BG5020: Features a flexible handle for reaching difficult areas.
Comb Attachments:
3mm comb (for BG3015, BG3016, BG5020)
5mm comb (for BG3015, BG3016, BG5020)
7mm comb (for BG3015, BG3016, BG5020)
Shaving Head: Equipped with a foil shaver for a close shave. Replacement shaving heads are available (e.g., TT2000).
Power: Rechargeable battery.
Important Safety Information

Keep the supply unit dry. Do not immerse the charging stand in water or rinse it under the tap.
Warning
To charge the battery, use only the detachable supply unit (HQ8505) provided with the appliance.
The supply unit contains a transformer; do not cut off the supply unit to replace it with another plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it under the tap.
Always check the appliance before use. Do not use if damaged, as this may cause injury.
Always replace a damaged part with one of the original type.
Do not open the appliance to replace the rechargeable battery.
Do not use the supply unit in or near wall sockets that contain an electric air freshener to prevent irreparable damage.
Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as shown in the user manual.
For hygienic reasons, the appliance should only be used by one person.
Never use water hotter than 60°C to rinse the appliance.
Never use compressed air, scouring pads, abrasive cleaning agents, or aggressive liquids such as petrol or acetone to clean the appliance.

This Philips appliance complies with all applicable standards and regulations regarding exposure to electromagnetic fields.
General Information
This appliance is waterproof (indicated by a shower symbol). It is suitable for use in the bath or shower and for cleaning under the tap. For safety reasons, the appliance can only be used without cord.
The supply unit is suitable for mains voltages ranging from 100 to 240 volts.
The supply unit transforms 100-240 volts to a safe low voltage of less than 24 volts.
Maximum noise level: Lc = 75 dB(A).
Usage Instructions
Charging the Appliance
Ensure the appliance is off.
Connect the charging cord to the appliance.
Plug the supply unit into a wall socket. The charging indicator will illuminate.
Charging times:
BG3005, BG3010, BG3011: 8 hours
BG3015, BG3016, BG5020: 1 hour
Operating times on a full charge:
BG3005: 40 minutes
BG3010, BG3011, BG3015, BG3016: 50 minutes
BG5020: 60 minutes
Trimming with Comb Attachments
The appliance can be used for body grooming. Do not use it on the face (e.g., for facial shaving or trimming near eyes/ears).
Select the desired comb attachment (3mm, 5mm, or 7mm) based on the desired hair length.
Attach the comb to the shaving head. Ensure it clicks into place.
Turn on the appliance.
Move the appliance against the direction of hair growth for effective trimming.
The appliance can be used on dry skin or in the shower. Do not use it while showering if the comb attachment is not securely in place.
Shaving without Comb Attachment
For a close shave, remove the comb attachment.
Ensure the appliance is clean and the shaving head is intact.
Turn on the appliance.
Move the appliance gently over the skin. It can be used on dry skin or in the shower.
Do not use the appliance on irritated skin or open wounds.
Using the Flexible Handle (BG5020 only)
The BG5020 model features a flexible handle for extended reach, particularly for back grooming.
Unlock the handle by rotating the locking mechanism.
Extend the handle to the desired length.
Use the appliance to groom hard-to-reach areas like the back.
After use, fold the handle back and lock it in place.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the Appliance
After each use, turn off the appliance and unplug it if charging.
Remove the shaving head by pressing the release buttons and pulling it off.
Rinse the shaving head and the appliance body under running tap water. Ensure all hair clippings are removed.
Shake off excess water and allow the parts to air dry completely before reattaching the shaving head or storing.
Replacing the Shaving Head
The shaving head should be replaced approximately every 12 months for optimal performance, or sooner if it shows signs of wear or damage.
Turn off the appliance.
Remove the old shaving head by pressing the release buttons and pulling it off.
Take a new Philips TT2000 replacement shaving head from its packaging.
Align the new shaving head with the appliance body and press it down until it clicks into place.
Recycling and Disposal
Product Disposal
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that this product shall not be disposed of with normal household waste (Directive 2012/19/EU). Follow your country's rules for the separate collection of electrical and electronic products. Correct disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health.
Battery Disposal
The symbol with a crossed-out wheeled bin and a battery indicates that this product contains a built-in rechargeable battery which shall not be disposed of with normal household waste (Directive 2006/66/EC). Take your product to an official collection point or a Philips service center to have a professional remove the rechargeable battery. Follow your country's rules for the separate collection of rechargeable batteries. Correct disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health.
Removing the Rechargeable Battery for Disposal
Only remove the rechargeable battery when you discard the product. Before removal, ensure the product is disconnected from the wall socket and the battery is completely empty.
Take any necessary safety precautions when handling tools to open the product and when disposing of the rechargeable battery.
Check for screws on the back or front of the appliance. If present, remove them.
Remove the back and/or front panel of the appliance with a screwdriver. If necessary, also remove additional screws and/or parts until you see the printed circuit board with the rechargeable battery.
Remove the rechargeable battery.
