Open shipping carton.
Assembly > Unboxing

Remove brackets.

Attach wheel kit.

Connect the battery.

Start Up
Add oil.
Assembly > Add Engine Oil.
Recommended: 10W-30, up to 37.2 fl. oz. (1.2 qt./1.1 L). DO NOT overfill.

Move the generator outdoors.
Description: Move the generator to an open, outdoor area. Point the exhaust away from any structures or people. Never run the generator in enclosed areas (e.g., not in a house or garage). Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. Heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials. Add fuel.

DO NOT use E15 or E85.

Prepare for starting.

Turn the fuel valve “ON”.

Start the generator (Electric Start).
1. Pull the choke knob out to the “CHOKE” position.
2. Press and hold the ignition switch to the “START” position.
3. Push the choke knob in to the "RUN" position.
Description: To start the generator using the electric start system: pull the choke knob to the [choke position], press and hold the ignition switch to the [start position], then push the choke knob to the [run position]. [Diagram shows sequence: choke out, ignition switch pressed, choke in.]
Start the generator (Manual Start).
1. Pull the choke knob out to the "CHOKE" position.
2. Push the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
3. Pull the starter cord.
4. Push the choke knob in to the “RUN” position.

Connect electrical loads.
