User's Manual
This manual provides instructions for the Inventor Air Conditioning Remote Controller.
Models: PFUVI-09WFI/PFUVO-09, PFUVI-12WFI/PFUVO-12, PFUVI-18WFI/PFUVO-18, PFUVI-24WFI/PFUVO-24
Attention
- Before operating, point the remote controller's signal transmitter towards the air conditioner's receiver.
- The remote controller operates within a range of up to 8 meters.
- Ensure there are no obstacles between the remote controller and the unit.
- Do not hit, drop, or throw the remote controller.
- Avoid exposing the remote controller to direct sunlight or near heat sources.
- Use two AAA batteries of the same type.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries.
- Do not mix new and used batteries.
- Remove batteries if the remote controller will not be used for an extended period.
- If there is no response or communication indication, replace batteries with new ones.
- If the display resets upon button press, replace batteries with new ones.
- Always dispose of used batteries properly.
Note: Images are for illustration purposes only. Actual unit may differ slightly. Cooling-only units do not have heating functions; attempting to use them will not activate the feature.
Function Buttons (Closed Cover)
The remote controller features a signal transmitter and several buttons. Buttons on the cover are operational only when the cover is closed.
- 1. ON/OFF Button: Starts or stops the unit. Timer and Sleep functions are deactivated when the unit is turned off.
- 2. SPEED Button: Selects fan speed. Options include Low, Mid, High, and Auto.
- 3. Temperature Adjustment Buttons (∧/∨): Increase or decrease the set temperature by 0.5°C. Continuous pressing allows for rapid changes. Temperature range: 16°C - 32°C.
- 4. COOL Button: Activates cooling mode.
- 5. HEAT Button: Activates heating mode. (Note: Not available on cooling-only units).
- 6. SWING Buttons (SWING ↑ and SWING →): Activate automatic louver movement (vertical or horizontal). Press again to deactivate. Swing settings are saved per operation mode.
Function Buttons (Open Cover)
Opening the cover reveals additional buttons:
- 1. ON/OFF Button: Starts or stops the unit.
- 2. MODE Button: Selects the operation mode. The sequence is AUTO → COOL → DRY → HEAT → FAN.
- 3. SPEED Button: Selects fan speed (Low, Mid, High, Auto).
- 4. TURBO Button: Activates turbo fan speed. The TURBO indicator lights up. Press again to deactivate. Available in cooling or heating modes.
- 5. SILENCE Button: Activates silent mode. The SILE indicator lights up. Press again to deactivate.
- 6. TIMER Button: Sets ON or OFF timers. Press TIMER once; H and ON/OFF indicators flash. Use ∧/∨ to set time (0.5-24 hours). Press TIMER again to confirm. If no button is pressed for 10 seconds, the setting is cancelled. Pressing TIMER again deactivates the set timer.
- 7. HEALTH Button: Activates/deactivates the ionizer and UVC functions.
- 8. SLEEP Button: Activates sleep mode for 10 hours, after which the last set operation resumes. Pressing MODE or ON/OFF deactivates Sleep mode. If TIMER OFF is also set, the unit will turn off according to the timer.
- 9. iFEEL Button: Activates iFEEL mode, displaying room temperature and operating based on the remote's location. Cannot be used in FAN mode.
- 10. DISPLAY Button: Turns off the unit's display. Pressing again flashes the display for 5 seconds, then shows ambient and set temperatures.
- 11. iCLEAN Button: Starts the self-cleaning function to remove dust and moisture from the evaporator. Can be stopped by pressing iCLEAN or ON/OFF. Terminates automatically within an hour. Note: Does not replace regular cleaning and maintenance.
- 12. ELE.H Button: Activates supplementary electric heating in heating mode (for applicable models).
- 13. Anti-FUNGUS Button: Helps prevent mold and odors. To enable, turn off the unit and remote, point the remote at the unit, and press and hold Anti-FUNGUS. The unit beeps (5 times, then 5 more). To disable, repeat the process (beeps: 5 times, then 3). Pressing the button once activates/deactivates the function. Available in cooling, dry, and auto modes. Forces 3 minutes of heating mode (or fan mode for cooling-only units) at low fan speed. It is recommended to let the operation complete.
- 14. SPOT SWING Button: Activates automatic horizontal louver movement. Press again to deactivate.
- 15. ECO Button: Activates energy-saving mode for optimal power consumption. Deactivates automatically after 8 hours. Can be manually deactivated by pressing ECO again. If TIMER OFF is set, the unit will turn off according to the timer. Note: ECO mode is only available in cooling operation.
- 16. iFavor Button: A shortcut to save and recall favorite settings (mode, fan speed, temperature, swing). To save, select desired settings and press and hold iFavor for 3 seconds. The display flashes 3 times. Only one setting can be saved at a time; new settings overwrite previous ones. To activate saved settings, press iFavor once.
Use of Remote Control
Insert/replace batteries
1. Open the battery cover by sliding it.
2. Insert two new AAA batteries, observing the polarity (+ & -).
3. Close the battery cover by sliding it.
Automatic Operation Mode (AUTO)
- Press ON/OFF to start the air conditioner.
- Press MODE and select AUTO. In AUTO mode, the unit adjusts temperature and switches between cooling, heating, and fan modes based on room conditions.
- Press SPEED to set fan speed (LOW, MID, HIGH, AUTO).
Cooling/Heating Operation Mode
(Heating mode is not available on cooling-only units)
- Press ON/OFF to start the air conditioner.
- Press MODE and select cooling or heating mode.
- Press ∧ or ∨ to set the desired temperature (16°C - 32°C).
- Press SPEED to set fan speed (LOW, MID, HIGH, AUTO).
Fan Operation Mode
- Press ON/OFF to start the air conditioner.
- Press MODE and select FAN mode.
- Press SPEED to set fan speed (LOW, MID, HIGH, AUTO).
Note: Temperature settings have no effect in FAN mode.
Dry Operation Mode
- Press ON/OFF to start the air conditioner.
- Press MODE and select DRY mode.
- Press ∧ or ∨ to set the desired temperature (16°C - 32°C).
- Press SPEED to set fan speed (LOW, MID, HIGH, AUTO).
Note: This manual covers all remote controller functions. Refer to the air conditioner's user manual for unit-specific functions.
