8. FAQ
- Q1: Camera turns on/off automatically?
- To ensure that the output current can reach 5V/1.5A, use the provided car charger. Ensure the in-car camera and rear camera are connected correctly. To improve stability, the dash cam may automatically restart once after detecting a different camera is connected. The dash cam will automatically start recording when it detects that the power is connected and automatically shut down when it detects that the power is disconnected.
- Q2: Video image blurry?
- Remove the protective lens cap and clean the lens. Ensure the windshield is clean and free of grease, dirt, and debris.
- Q3: Camera getting hot?
- It is normal for your camera to run a little warm. Since video is being recorded at high speed, the dash cam may become very hot during use (not to exceed 158°F/70°C).
- Q4: My dash cam has no power but will it work on my computer?
- If the cigarette lighter power cord is not working, check the fuse in the car's power cord plug. If you find a blown fuse, check the power cord for damage that might cause the fuse to blow.
- Q5: The sound is out of sync with the video during playback?
- The codec on your PC may not be compatible or may not be the latest standard.
- Q6: My computer can't play video files?
- The video files of the dash cam are in TS format. If the appropriate playback software is not installed, it may not be compatible with your PC.
- Q7: Video has no sound?
- Make sure the "Record Audio" setting is turned on in the settings menu.
- Q8: Photos blurry?
- Make sure the dash cam is still when taking pictures. The minimum focal length range of the dash cam is approximately 2 meters. Anything closer than that may become blurry.
