Maytag High Efficiency Dryer
Quick Start Guide
This guide provides essential steps for operating your Maytag High Efficiency Dryer. For more detailed information, refer to the Use and Care Guide.
Clean the Lint Screen
Ensure the lint screen is clean before each use for optimal drying performance and energy efficiency.
Load the Dryer
Place your laundry loosely into the dryer drum. Avoid overloading the dryer, as this can affect drying efficiency.
Press Power to Turn On the Dryer
Locate and press the 'Power/Cancel' button to turn on the dryer. The control panel will illuminate.
Select the Desired Cycle
Turn the cycle selector knob to choose the appropriate cycle for your load (e.g., Normal, Wrinkle Control, Sanitize, Timed Dry). The display will show the estimated cycle time.
Adjust Cycle Settings, If Desired
Customize your drying experience by adjusting settings such as Dryness Level, Temperature, and options like 'Timed Dry Adjust' or 'Steam Refresh'.
Energy Saver Feature
Activate the 'Energy Saver' setting to increase energy savings. This feature uses a slightly lower heat level and extends the cycle time. The 'Energy Saver' option is available for the 'Normal' cycle only. Note that energy savings may vary across different loads.
Tip: Turn 'Energy Saver' ON for optimal energy savings. Turn it OFF for optimal cycle times.
Select Any Additional Options
Choose from available options such as 'Steam Boost', 'Wrinkle Prevent', 'Signal', 'Control Lock', and others to further tailor the drying process.
Touch and Hold Start/Pause to Begin Cycle
Once all settings are selected, touch and hold the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the drying cycle. The dryer will start, and the estimated time will be displayed.
