Wallbox Energy Meters Installation Guide
Purpose and Scope of the Document
This document outlines the instructions for installing energy meters compatible with the Power Boost and Eco-Smart functionalities. For instructions to install an MID meter, refer to the relevant Installation Guide.
Important Notes
- After installation, connect the energy meter before closing your charger. If the charger was already installed, open it to connect the energy meter.
- Only energy meters delivered by Wallbox are compatible.
- The installation must be performed only by suitably qualified personnel, according to local regulations.
- Ensure the charger is updated with the latest software version before installing the meter.
- Ensure the charger is powered off before connecting the meter.

Placement
Step 1: Place the energy meter after the mains supply in the fuse box.
Diagram Description: The diagram illustrates the connection flow: Grid (A) connects to Utility Meter (B), which is controlled by a Main Switch (C). This leads to the Fuse Box (D), where the Energy Meter (E) is installed. Communication (F) connects to RCDs+MCBs (G), which then power Other House Loads (H), the Wallbox Charger (I), and a Car (J).
Step 2: For all meters, follow the corresponding manual included in the box.
Meter Models and Ratings:
- EM340: 3-Phase < 65 A
- EM112: 1-Phase < 100 A
- EM330: 3-Phase < 250 A
Note: For EM340 and EM112 meters, only PF.B versions are compatible with Eco-Smart functionality. For Power Boost, both PF.A and PF.B versions of EM340 and EM112 are compatible. Refer to the Eco-Smart configuration article for more details.
Meter Specifics
SPM1-100-AC
Usage: For 1-Phase installation, up to 100A.
Installation:
- Clip the power meter to the mains power cable.
- Ensure the neutral cable is not drawn through the clamp.
- Insert the cable through the clamp in the correct direction as shown.
*Not compatible with the Eco-Smart functionality.
Pro MOD2 / Pro 380 MOD / N1 CT
Ratings:
- Pro MOD2 / Pro 380 MOD: A. 1-Phase < 100A, B. 3-Phase < 65A, C. 1-Phase < 80A
- N1 CT: Specific connections described in wiring diagrams.

- EM112: Terminals T(3), A-(5), B+(4), GND(6)
- EM340: Terminals T(7), A-(9), B+(8), GND(10)

- N1 CT: Terminals A+(21), B-(20), GND(24), 12V(23). D+ and D- connections also shown.
