For Your Safety
- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids near this or any other appliance. Read product labels for flammability and other warnings.
Prevent Accidents
- To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury, follow basic precautions:
- Ensure the electrical service is adequate for your model, as indicated on the serial plate located on the side of the cabinet and behind the grille.
- If installing in a window, clean both sides of the glass. If the window is a triple-track type with a screen, remove the screen before installation.
- Ensure the air conditioner is securely and correctly installed according to the separate installation instructions. Save these instructions for future reference.
- Handle the air conditioner carefully to avoid cuts from sharp metal fins on the front and rear coils.
Electrical Information
- The power cord has a three-prong grounding plug for protection against shock hazards.
- Use only a properly grounded wall receptacle. If your receptacle is not adequately grounded or protected by a time delay fuse or circuit breaker, have a qualified electrician install a proper receptacle.
- Do not run the air conditioner without the outside protective cover in place, as this can cause mechanical damage.
- Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug.
- Avoid fire hazard or electric shock. Do not use an extension cord or an adapter plug. Do not remove any prong from the power cord.
- The electrical rating is stated on the serial plate. Ensure proper grounding to minimize shock and fire hazards.
Grounding Prong Illustration: The power cord is equipped with a three-prong grounding plug. The illustration shows standard plug configurations for 115V 15A, 230V 15A, 230V 20A, and 230V 30A outlets. A warning states: "Do not, under any circumstances, cut, remove or bypass the grounding prong."
Note on Power Supply Cord: The power supply cord contains a current detection device to reduce fire risk. If the cord is damaged, it cannot be repaired and must be replaced by the manufacturer or their authorized servicer.
Safety Precautions (DANGER):
- This unit contains no user-serviceable parts. Call an authorized servicer for repairs.
- Do not insert fingers or objects into the air discharge area.
- Do not start or stop the unit by unplugging the cord or turning off power at the electrical box.
- Do not cut or damage the power cord. If damaged, it must be replaced by an authorized servicer.
- In case of malfunction (sparks, burning smell), stop operation immediately, disconnect the power cord, and call an authorized servicer.
- Do not operate with wet hands.
- Do not pull on the power cord.
- Do not drink water drained from the unit.
Safety Precautions (CAUTION):
- Provide ventilation as per installation instructions.
- Do not direct airflow at fireplaces or other heat sources.
- Do not climb on or place objects on the outdoor part of the unit.
- Do not hang objects off the unit.
- Do not place containers with liquids on the unit.
- Turn off the unit at the power source when not in use for extended periods.
- Periodically check installation accessories for damage.
- Do not apply heavy pressure to radiator fins.
- Operate the unit with the air filter in place.
- Do not block or cover intake/discharge areas.
- Keep electrical equipment at least one yard away from the unit.
- Do not use or store flammable gases near the unit.
- Do not touch metal parts when removing the filter; sharp edges can cause injury.
- Do not use water to clean inside the unit; it can damage insulation and cause electric shock.
- Ensure power and circuit breaker are off before cleaning.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, unless supervised.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
Flammable Refrigerant Warning:
- Servicing should only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Do not modify the power cord length or use an extension cord.
- Do not share a single outlet with other appliances.
- Handle, install, and service the unit carefully to avoid damage or hazard.
- The appliance uses Flammable Refrigerant R32. Recover refrigerant properly during maintenance or disposal; do not discharge it into the air.
- Comply with national gas regulations.
- Keep ventilation openings clear.
- Store the appliance to prevent mechanical damage.
Storage and Handling of Flammable Refrigerants:
- Ensure the unit is in a well-ventilated area.
- Personnel handling refrigerant circuits must hold a valid certificate.
- Avoid open flames or spark-generating devices near the unit.
- Do not use means to accelerate defrosting other than those recommended.
- Store the appliance away from ignition sources.
- Do not pierce or burn the unit.
- Be aware that refrigerants may not have an odor.
- Follow transport, marking, and disposal regulations for flammable refrigerants.
- Storage of equipment should comply with applicable regulations.
- Storage packages should prevent mechanical damage that could cause refrigerant leaks.
Servicing Information:
- Checks to the area: Ensure risk of ignition is minimized before working on systems with flammable refrigerants.
- Work procedure: Work under a controlled procedure to minimize flammable gas presence.
- General work area: Instruct staff on work nature. Avoid confined spaces. Section off workspace. Ensure area is safe.
- Checking for refrigerant: Use appropriate detectors. Ensure equipment is suitable and calibrated.
- Presence of fire extinguisher: Have appropriate fire extinguishing equipment available.
- No ignition sources: Keep ignition sources away from work areas. Display "No Smoking" signs.
- Ventilated area: Ensure adequate ventilation before and during hot work. Disperse refrigerant safely.
- Checks to refrigerating equipment: Ensure electrical components are fit for purpose. Follow manufacturer's guidelines. Check refrigerant charge, ventilation, markings, and pipe/component protection.
- Checks to electrical devices: Perform initial safety checks. If a fault compromises safety, disconnect supply until resolved. Use temporary solutions if necessary and report to owner. Ensure capacitors are discharged, no live components are exposed, and earth bonding continuity is present.
- Sealed electrical components must be replaced.
- Intrinsically safe components must be replaced.
- Cabling: Check cabling for wear, corrosion, pressure, vibration, sharp edges, or adverse environmental effects.
- Detection of flammable refrigerants: Do not use naked flames for detection. Use electronic leak detectors. Calibrate detectors in a refrigerant-free area. Ensure detectors are not ignition sources. Set sensitivity appropriately. Avoid chlorine-containing detergents. If a leak is suspected, extinguish all naked flames. If brazing is needed, recover or isolate refrigerant.
Removal and Evacuation:
- Follow conventional procedures for repairs, but adhere to best practices for flammable refrigerants.
- Safely remove refrigerant according to regulations.
- Evacuate and purge the circuit with inert gas (optional for A2L).
- Recover refrigerant into correct cylinders. Purge systems with oxygen-free nitrogen. Do not use compressed air or oxygen for purging.
- Repeat purging until no refrigerant remains.
- Vent the system to atmospheric pressure. Ensure vacuum pump outlet is not near ignition sources and ventilation is available.
Charging Procedures:
- Follow conventional procedures and additional requirements.
- Prevent contamination of refrigerants. Use short hoses.
- Keep cylinders in appropriate positions.
- Earth the refrigeration system before charging.
- Label the system when charging is complete.
- Take extreme care not to overfill.
- Pressure test the system with OFN. Perform follow-up leak tests.
Decommissioning:
- Technician must be familiar with the equipment. Recover refrigerants safely.
- Take oil and refrigerant samples if analysis is required.
- Ensure electrical power is available.
- Become familiar with equipment operation.
- Isolate system electrically.
- Ensure mechanical handling equipment and PPE are available and used correctly. Recovery process must be supervised. Equipment and cylinders must conform to standards.
- Pump down the system or remove refrigerant using a manifold.
- Place cylinder on scales before recovery.
- Start recovery machine as per instructions.
- Do not overfill cylinders (max 80% liquid charge).
- Do not exceed cylinder working pressure.
- Close isolation valves after filling cylinders and removing equipment.
- Recovered refrigerant must be cleaned and checked before charging into another system.
Labelling: Label equipment stating it has been decommissioned and emptied of refrigerant, with date and signature. Ensure labels indicate the presence of flammable refrigerant.
Recovery: Remove refrigerants safely. Use appropriate, labelled recovery cylinders. Ensure cylinders are evacuated and cooled if possible. Recovery equipment must be in good working order with instructions. Use calibrated weighing scales and leak-free hoses.
Flammable Refrigerants Note: Recovered refrigerant must be processed according to local legislation. Do not mix refrigerants. Ensure compressors and oils are evacuated to remove refrigerant.

Wiring Diagram
The wiring diagram illustrates the electrical connections for the air conditioner. Key components include:
- Sensors: DAHT Sensor, OUT E. Sensor, OUT A. Sensor, EVAPORATOR SENSOR, AMBIENT SENSOR.
- Control Board: CN1, CN3, CN4, CN5, CN6, CN7, CN8, CN9, CN10, CN11, CN12, CN13, CN14, CN24.
- Components: FAN CAP, TRANSFORMER, FAN MOTOR, ION, VALVE, CAP, RY6N, RY6L, COMP (Compressor), HEATER, WiFi.
- Power Input: Connections for power (WHITE, BLUE, BLACK, GREEN/Y/G).
- Indicators/Buttons: TEST, RESET buttons on the power cord plug.
Note: Please strictly follow the wiring label attached to the machine for all wiring connections. The wiring diagram may vary for different units. The provided diagram is a simplified version for preliminary illustration purposes only.
Normal Sounds
Your air conditioner may produce several normal operating sounds:
- Gurgle/Hiss: "Gurgling or hissing" noise may be heard due to refrigerant passing through the evaporator during normal operation.
- Sound of Rushing Air: At the front of the unit, you may hear the sound of rushing air being moved by the fan.
- High pitched Chatter: High efficiency compressors may produce a high pitched chatter during the cooling cycle.
- Vibration: The unit may vibrate and make noise due to poor wall or window construction or incorrect installation.
- Pinging or Swishing: Droplets of water hitting the condenser during normal operation may cause "pinging or swishing" sounds.
Note: Do not drill holes in the base pan to eliminate normal sounds, as this will void the warranty.
Air Conditioner Features
Your air conditioner can be controlled via the touch pad or the remote control.
Electronic Control Panel:

Remote Control:
The remote control allows operation of all features. It includes buttons for Fan Speed, Mode, Temperature/Timer adjustment, Ionizer, Eco, Sleep, Light, and Remote Sensing (on some models).
Light Feature: The display and LED indicators can be turned off by pressing the "Light" button on the remote. Pressing another button will briefly reactivate them. Pressing "Light" again or unplugging the unit cancels this setting.
Battery Size: AAA. Do not mix battery types (old/new, alkaline/carbon-zinc, rechargeable). Caution for ingestion; keep out of reach of children.
Operating Instructions
The following instructions apply to both the touch pad and remote control.
To Turn Unit On:
Press the ON/OFF button.
Cool Feature:
Press the MODE button and choose COOL.
Note: When first used, the unit defaults to Cool mode with Auto fan speed. The Eco feature, if activated, will keep the fan running for 3 minutes after the compressor shuts off, then cycle the fan for 2 minutes every 10 minutes until the room temperature rises, at which point the compressor turns back on. The Eco feature is invalid in Fan Only mode.
Auto Feature:
Press the MODE button and choose AUTO.
Note: In Auto mode, the fan runs continuously, and the compressor cycles on/off based on room temperature.
To Change Temperature Setting:
Press the ▲ button to raise the temperature or the ▼ button to lower it.
To Use Auto Fan Feature:
Press the FAN button and choose AUTO.
Note: The temperature will be maintained between 62°F (17°C) and 86°F (30°C). For actual room temperature display, refer to the "To Operate on Fan Only" section.
To Adjust Fan Speeds:
Press the FAN button to select speeds: Auto, Lo (Low), Med (Medium), and Hi (High). Note that speed selection is limited in Auto, Dry, or Sleep modes.
Note: Fan speed adjusts automatically based on room temperature. It starts at Low and increases as needed, returning to the slowest speed when the room temperature stabilizes.
To Operate on Fan Only:
Press the MODE button and choose FAN ONLY.
Note: This mode is for room air circulation or exhausting stale air. The vent should be open. The display shows the actual room temperature, not the set temperature.
Sleep Feature:
Press the SLEEP button.
Note: In Sleep mode, the unit automatically sets Auto fan speed. The temperature increases by 2°F after 30 minutes, and again by 2°F after another 30 minutes. This new temperature is maintained for 7 hours before returning to the original setting. The Sleep mode can be cancelled by pressing Sleep, Fan speed, or Mode buttons.
Dry Mode:
Press the MODE button and choose DRY.
Note: In Dry mode, the unit acts as a dehumidifier and cools the room. Temperature can be adjusted between 62°F (17°C) and 86°F (30°C), and fan speed is set to Lo.
Check Filter Feature:
The "Filter" indicator light illuminates after 250 hours of operation as a reminder to clean the air filter. To reset after cleaning, press the "Filter Reset" button.
Timer: Delay Stop/Start Feature:
Press the TIMER button. Use the UP/DOWN (▲/▼) buttons to set the delay time in 0.5-hour increments up to 10 hours, then in 1-hour increments up to 24 hours. The setting confirms automatically in 5 seconds. The unit counts down the remaining time. Timer settings can be combined (e.g., delay stop and start). The timer can be cancelled by holding the timer button for 2 seconds or pressing the ON/OFF button.
Remote Sensing Feature (on some models):
Activate by pointing the remote at the unit and pressing the Remote Sensing button. Use ▲/▼ buttons to set the desired temperature on the remote. The unit's "LIGHT" indicator illuminates when it receives the signal. The remote's "LIGHT" pulses with each signal. The feature halts if no signal is received for 7 minutes. The remote display shows the temperature at the remote's location.
To Change Temperature Display:
Press and hold the UP/DOWN (▲/▼) buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
To Activate Ionizer:
Press the IONIZER button.
Note: The ionizer is an air cleaning device that generates ions to attract and remove impurities, providing cleaner, healthier air.
To Turn Unit Off:
Press the ON/OFF button.
Operating Instructions - Additional Information
Fault Codes:
If the display reads "AS" or "ES", a sensor has failed. Contact your Authorized Frigidaire Service Center.
Additional Things You Should Know:
- Operating Temperature Range: Indoor: 60°F - 90°F (16°C - 32°C). Outdoor: 64°F - 109°F (18°C - 43°C). Performance may be reduced outside these ranges.
- Air Directional Louvers: These control airflow direction. The "Slider Type" louvers allow adjustment Up/Down and Left/Right by dragging an adjuster tablet or pivoting horizontal louvers.
- Cool Circuit Delay: A 3-minute time delay start prevents compressor overheating and circuit breaker tripping when the unit is turned off and on quickly. The fan continues to run during this delay.
- Fan Only Delay: There is a 2-second delay for compressor shutdown when selecting FAN ONLY mode.
- Temperature Maintenance: The unit maintains the set temperature within 2°F between 60°F and 90°F.
- Power Outage Memory: After a power outage, the unit will memorize and restore the last setting once power is restored.
Care and Cleaning & Energy Saving Ideas
Care and Cleaning:
Unplug the unit before cleaning to prevent shock or fire hazards.
Air Filter Cleaning:
- Check the air filter at least once a month. Trapped particles can cause frost buildup on cooling coils.
- Push the vent handle to the Vent Closed position.
- Open the front panel.
- Grasp the filter by the center and pull up and out.
- Wash the filter with liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and shake off excess water. Ensure the filter is completely dry before replacing.
- Alternatively, vacuum the filter clean.
Note: When replacing the filter, ensure the tabs are on the upper part and placed outward.
Cabinet Cleaning:
- Unplug the unit.
- Dust the cabinet and front with an oil-free cloth or wash with a cloth dampened in warm water and mild liquid dishwashing detergent. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.
- Never use harsh cleaners, wax, or polish on the cabinet front.
- Wring excess water from the cloth before wiping around controls to prevent damage.
- Plug the air conditioner back in after cleaning.
Winter Storage:
If storing the unit during winter, remove it carefully according to installation instructions. Cover with plastic or return to the original carton.
Energy Saving Ideas:
- Do not block airflow with blinds, curtains, furniture, or external shrubs/enclosures.
- Ensure the unit's capacity matches the room size for efficient operation.
- Install the unit on the shady side of your home.
- Close fireplace dampers and registers to prevent cool air escape.
- Keep blinds and drapes closed during the sunniest part of the day.
- Clean the air filter regularly.
- Proper insulation and weather stripping help keep warm air out and cool air in.
- External shading (trees, plants, awnings) reduces the unit's workload.
- Operate heat-producing appliances during the coolest part of the day.

Major Appliance Limited Warranty
Your appliance is covered by a limited one-year warranty for functional repairs. For one year from the original purchase date, Electrolux will cover costs for repairing or replacing defective parts. After one year, the consumer is responsible for diagnostic, labor, parts, removal, transportation, and reinstallation expenses.
Exclusions:
- Products with altered or missing serial numbers.
- Products transferred from original owner or removed outside the USA or Canada.
- Rust on the interior or exterior.
- Products purchased "as-is".
- Food loss due to refrigerator or freezer failures.
- Products used in a commercial setting.
- Service calls not involving malfunction or defects, or for appliances not in ordinary household use.
- Service calls to correct installation or instruct on usage.
- Expenses for making the appliance accessible (e.g., removing trim, cupboards).
- Service calls to repair/replace light bulbs, air filters, water filters, consumables, knobs, handles, or cosmetic parts.
- Surcharges for after-hour, weekend, or holiday service calls, tolls, ferry charges, or mileage to remote areas.
- Damages to appliance finish or home incurred during installation.
- Damages caused by unauthorized service, non-genuine parts, abuse, misuse, inadequate power supply, accidents, fires, or acts of God.
Disclaimer of Implied Warranties; Limitation of Remedies:
The customer's sole remedy is product repair or replacement. Implied warranties are limited to one year or the shortest period allowed by law. Electrolux is not liable for consequential or incidental damages. Some states/provinces may not allow these limitations.
