Hook-up and Connections
Follow these steps to connect your speakers:
- Speaker Placement: Place the monitor speakers at head level, unobstructed, and at equal distances to the left and right of your listening position, forming an equilateral triangle.
- Power Connection: Connect the included power cable to the right monitor's POWER SOURCE socket. Then, connect the other end to a mains outlet. It is recommended to connect the right monitor and other audio equipment to the same outlet to avoid ground loops. Do not turn the power on yet.
- Audio Source Connection:
- Connect your audio source (mixer, computer, etc.) to the INPUT jacks on the right monitor. Balanced XLR or 1/4" TRS connections are preferred if available.
- For computer audio, connect a USB Type-B cable from your computer to the USB CONNECTOR on the monitor.
- Speaker Linking: Connect the included speaker cable from the right monitor's SPEAKER OUTPUT connector to the left monitor's SPEAKER INPUT connector. The right monitor houses amplifiers that power both speakers.
