Connecting the PND to Power Supply

1. Connect one end of the supplied power cable to the DC 12V power port of the INTELLIDASH+.

2. Plug the adapter end of the power cable into your car's DC power outlet.

Description of connection: If successfully connected, the LED indicator on the adapter end glows red, and the PND will automatically turn on and go to the home screen.

Connecting to Your Car's Speaker

There are three methods to connect the PND to your car's speaker. The primary method described is via AUX cable.

1. AUX Cable

Connect the supplied AUX cable to the Audio Out port of the PND and your car's Aux In port.

Wired & Wireless CarPlay Operation

Note: The wired connection method is recommended for new devices. The park brake needs to be connected for Apple CarPlay to function.

Wired Connection

  1. Turn on Bluetooth and WiFi on your compatible device.
  2. Connect an Apple CarPlay compatible device to this unit via USB1 (CP/AA/USB Media).
  3. A pairing message and a pairing request code may appear on your compatible device and head unit. Click allow to accept.
  4. An "Allow CarPlay with Aerpro while phone is locked" message may appear on your device. Click allow to accept.
  5. Click to enable wireless CarPlay or use the USB only option.
  6. Once connection is enabled for wireless CarPlay, connection via the USB connection is no longer required, and wireless connection will be automatic.
  7. The Apple CarPlay automatically displays on screen. If not, press the home button, then the ? [home-icon] icon, and then the Apple CarPlay icon.

Wireless Connection

  1. Before using Apple CarPlay wirelessly, turn on the Bluetooth and WiFi function on the compatible device.
  2. Tap the function you need, connect your phone with the machine through Bluetooth (ID: car_xxxxxx), and follow the steps to connect. The machine will turn on the APPs interface after connecting.
  3. A pairing message and a pairing request code may appear on your compatible device and head unit. Click allow to accept.
  4. Apple CarPlay automatically displays on screen. If not, press the home button, then the ? [home-icon] icon, and then the Apple CarPlay icon.

Wired & Wireless Android Auto™ Operation

Note: The wired connection method is recommended for new devices. The park brake needs to be connected for Android Auto to function.

Wired Connection

  1. Connect an Android Auto™ compatible device to this unit via USB1 (CP/AA/USB Media).
  2. Follow on-screen instructions that may appear on your device and head unit.
  3. Press the Android Auto icon to initiate a connection. The Android Auto home screen appears.
  4. Once an initial wired connection has been made, connection via the USB connection is no longer required, and wireless connection will be automatic.

Wireless Connection

  1. Before using Android Auto wirelessly, turn on the Bluetooth and WiFi function on the compatible device.
  2. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on your compatible device and select Aerpro for pairing.
  3. A pairing message and a pairing request code may appear on your compatible device and head unit. Click allow to accept.
  4. Android Auto automatically displays on screen. If not, press the home button, then the ? [home-icon] icon, and then the Android Auto icon.
  5. Follow on-screen instructions that may appear on your device and head unit.

Phone Setup (Before you begin - CarPlay)

Apple CarPlay® features may operate differently than on your Apple iPhone®. Message and data charges may apply when using Apple CarPlay. Please check with your carrier.

Apple CarPlay® relies on the performance of your phone. If you experience performance issues:

When Apple CarPlay® is active, your voice recognition system is disabled, and you will be using Siri® to make your requests.

On your phone, go to Settings > General > Siri and ensure Siri is turned ON.

Reversing Display (Option) - Steps of Installation

  1. Secure rear camera position (near license plate or rear windshield).
  2. Connect the red signal wire to the positive pole of the reversing light.

    Note: If the reversing light is triggered by the negative pole (that is, the positive and negative poles of the reversing light are both positive when the reverse gear is not in place), a relay needs to be added between the red signal wire and the positive pole of the reversing light.

  3. Connect the rear camera signal cable to the machine.
  4. Once installed, the view of the rear camera will only be displayed when in reverse gear.
