Diagram Description: The diagram shows the MERACH Hydraulic Stepper and its assembly steps. It includes a QR code labeled 'Scan QR code to watch installation video'.

STEP 1:

  1. A. Attach the four foot covers (4) to the left and right ends of the front and rear foot tubes, respectively.
  2. B. Screw the adjustment knob (3) into the main frame (1). Turn clockwise to increase pedal height and counter-clockwise to decrease pedal height, setting it to a suitable position for use.

Diagram Description: Shows the adjustment knob (3) being turned clockwise to increase pedal height and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Foot covers (4) are shown being attached to the base.

STEP 2:

As shown in the right diagram, open the latch of the elastic rope (2) and connect it to the hook of the main frame (1).

Diagram Description: Illustrates the elastic rope (2) mechanism. It shows how to press to open the latch, the automatic retraction for closing, and the open state of the latch. It also shows the elastic rope (2) being connected to the main frame (1).

Product Usage Instructions

A. After assembling the product according to the instructions, if the footrests are not level, adjust the footrests on the front and rear lower tubes to ensure all four footrests are set on a level plane.

B. After assembling the product, to start exercising, you can adjust the pedal height using the adjustment knob (3) to increase or decrease the intensity of the movement. We recommend trying it out first and then adjusting the position to find the appropriate pedal height for your workout.

C. The elastic rope (2) is used with the stepper. If you do not need to use the elastic rope, it can be removed, and the stepper can be used alone.

D. It is recommended to train continuously for no more than 20 minutes each day, as the cylinder area can become hot and cause burns or malfunctions. This also helps achieve the desired fitness effect more effectively. During the exercise process, we recommend controlling the speed and rhythm of the exercise to avoid harming your body with overly fast training.

Diagram Description: The diagram shows the MERACH Hydraulic Stepper in use. It highlights the elastic rope (2) for up and down movements, the pedal's ability to move up/down and side-to-side, the adjustment knob (3) for controlling pedal height and intensity, and the four foot covers that should be set on a level plane.

Note: If the display does not count during use, please tighten the adjustment knob (3) or check the pedal height (not less than 9.1 inches / 230 mm) to ensure the sensor device can receive data.

  • Cleaning: After each use, wipe the surface of the stepper and all contact areas with a damp cloth to remove sweat and dust.
  • Lubrication: Regularly check if the stepper's drive system needs lubrication. You can use the appropriate lubricant on the pulley or crank to ensure smooth operation. (The lubricant must be provided by you.)
  • Adjustment: Make adjustments as needed, for example, the angle at which you use the machine, to ensure proper posture and maximum comfort.
  • Check Screws: Regularly check all screws and nuts for tightness. If they are loose, they should be tightened immediately.
  • Check Parts: Regularly check the stepper's parts for damage or wear and replace them if necessary.
  • Moisture: Store the stepper in a dry place to prevent moisture damage to the machine.

These suggestions will help ensure your stepper remains in good condition and its lifespan is extended.

Note: Each stepper may have slightly different maintenance requirements. Therefore, consult your device's manual or ask the manufacturer for specific maintenance requirements.

By following these maintenance steps, you can ensure your fitness equipment remains in excellent condition and its lifespan is extended for many training sessions.

If you notice signs of wear on your machine during your regular inspection that may require replacement, please contact us at support.eu@merach.com.

Warm-up Exercises

Stretch before you train. Warm muscles are easier to stretch. Therefore, begin with a 5-10 minute warm-up phase and then perform some of the stretches listed below: 5 repetitions, 10 seconds or longer per leg. Repeat them after training.

1. Downward Stretch

Slightly bend your knees, slowly lean your body forward, relax your back and shoulders, and try to touch your toes with your hands. Hold the position for 10-15 seconds and then relax. Repeat the exercise 3 times (see Figure 1).

2. Seated Hamstring Stretch

Sit with one leg straight. Position the other leg so that it lies close to the inside of the straight leg. Try to touch your feet with your hand. Hold the position for 10-15 seconds and then relax. Repeat this 3 times with each leg (see Figure 2).

3. Achilles Stretch

Stand with both hands against a wall or tree and place one foot behind the other. Keep your back leg straight and the heel on the floor, and lean into the wall or tree. Hold the position for 10-15 seconds and then relax. Repeat this 3 times with each leg (see Figure 3).

4. Quadriceps Stretch

Reach back with your right hand, grasp your right foot, and slowly pull it towards your hip until you feel the muscles on the front of your thigh tensing. Hold the tension for 10-15 seconds and then relax. Repeat this 3 times with each leg (see Figure 4).

5. Sartorius Stretch (Inner Thigh Muscle)

Sit with your feet together and knees pointing outwards. Grasp your feet with both hands and pull them towards your groin. Hold the position for 10-15 seconds and then relax. Repeat the exercise 3 times (see Figure 5).

Diagram Description: The diagrams illustrate five different stretching exercises: 1. Downward Stretch (bending forward to touch toes), 2. Seated Hamstring Stretch (reaching for toes with one leg extended), 3. Achilles Stretch (calf stretch against a wall), 4. Quadriceps Stretch (pulling foot towards hip), and 5. Sartorius Stretch (butterfly stretch).
