Tapo Smart Light Strip, Multicolor - Quick Start Guide
Overview
This guide provides instructions for setting up the TP-Link Tapo Smart Light Strip. Getting Started
Follow these steps to set up your Tapo Smart Light Strip:
- Download the Tapo app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Follow the instructions in the Tapo app to complete the setup.
- Install the Light Strip according to the diagram.
Note: Install it on a clean, dry, and smooth surface. Do not move it to another place after it is attached.

- The maximum distance to the receptacle is determined by the length of the adapter cord.
- Not intended for emergency lighting.
- Not intended for recessed installation in ceilings or soffits.
