The DX4510-B1 is a member of the Zyxel MPro Mesh solution family.
Step 1: Hardware Installation
- Connect the DSL port to the telephone wall outlet using the phone cable. Use a splitter/filter if connecting a telephone simultaneously.
- Connect the cable or fiber modem's LAN port to the DX4510-B1's WAN port using the included Ethernet cable.
- Connect the power adapter to the DX4510-B1 and wait for 2 minutes. Observe the front panel status lights.

Step 2: WiFi Connection A or B
Connect your wireless device to the WiFi network using one of the following methods:
Method A: Scan QR code to connect WiFi
- Scan the QR code on the side label of the DX4510-B1 with your wireless device.
- Join the displayed WiFi network (SSID) and enter the WiFi password.
Method B: Using the SSID method to connect WiFi
- Locate the WiFi Network Name (SSID) and WiFi Password on the side label of the DX4510-B1.
- On your wireless device, find this SSID and enter the WiFi Password to connect.
Step 3: App Management
- Download the MPro Mesh app from Google Play or the App Store to manage your MPro Mesh network.
- Open the MPro Mesh app and enter the DX4510-B1's serial number, found on the bottom label.
The MPro Mesh app allows you to:
- Remotely manage your network
- View home devices
- Set up Guest Wi-Fi
- Manage home Wi-Fi name
- Enable Internet Instant Block
- Add Mesh Extenders
- Receive push notifications
Adding a Wireless Extender
To add a wireless extender to your DX4510-B1's WiFi network, press the WPS button on the DX4510-B1 once, then press the WPS button on your extender within 120 seconds.
Safety Warnings
- Do not use the product near water or in damp, dusty, or corrosive environments.
- Do not place objects on the device.
- Avoid using the device during thunderstorms.
- Only connect approved accessories.
- Do not open or service the device yourself; contact qualified personnel.
- Ensure cables are connected to the correct ports and are not a tripping hazard.
- Disconnect all cables before servicing.
- Use only the provided or designated power cables and adapters. Ensure correct voltage. Do not use damaged power adapters or cords.
- Do not remove the plug from the power adapter and connect it directly to the outlet.
- Do not place objects on or allow anyone to walk on the power adapter or cord.
- Ensure all connections are indoors.
- Caution: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries properly.
- Do not obstruct ventilation slots. Avoid placing the device in enclosed spaces or on soft surfaces.
- For permanently connected devices, a readily accessible disconnect device must be incorporated external to the equipment. For pluggable devices, the socket-outlet must be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.
- Caution: RJ-45 jacks are not for telephone line connection.

Operation of this device is restricted to indoor use only, except for relevant user's manual mention that this device can be installed into the external environment. For 2.4G WLAN, only channels 1 - 11 are operational.
FCC Part 68 Statement: This equipment complies with Part 68 of the FCC rules. Located on the equipment is a label that contains, among other information, the ACTA registration number and ringer equivalence number (REN). If requested, this information must be provided to the telephone company. The REN is used to determine the quantity of devices which may be connected to the telephone line. Excessive RENs on the telephone line may result in the devices not ringing in response to an incoming call. In most areas, the sum of the RENs should not exceed five. Contact the telephone company to determine the maximum REN for your calling area. This equipment cannot be used on the telephone company-provided coin service. 5G Wireless Function Attention:
- For operation in the 5150-5250 MHz band, the device is for indoor use only to reduce potential interference to mobile satellite systems.
- For devices with detachable antennas, the maximum antenna gain permitted in the 5725-5850 MHz band must comply with e.i.r.p. limits.
