Product Overview
The j5create JVU300 is an AI-powered webcam featuring a 2K QHD image sensor with a high-quality lens, an extendable mount, and a wireless microphone. It supports USB-C® and USB™ Type-A connectors. The webcam offers features like auto-focus, manual focus, a sliding privacy cover, and a focus mode indicator (Green for Auto Focus, Orange for Manual Focus). The wireless microphone enhances audio quality in noisy environments.

- 2K QHD Resolution: Delivers clear video calls up to 1440p at 60fps.
- AI-Powered Functions: Supports Smart Tracking (tracks presenter's movements), Auto-Framing (automatically centers people), and Object PIP Mode (tracks presenter and highlighted objects in Picture-in-Picture).
- Wireless Microphone: Provides high-quality audio and can be clipped to a collar to reduce background noise. The mic automatically turns off the camera's built-in mic when in use and charges when connected to the camera.
- Focus Modes: Offers both Auto Focus and Manual Focus. A discoid button on the side switches between modes and can also rotate the image by 180°.
- Privacy Cover: A sliding cover ensures privacy when the camera is not in use.
- Connectivity: Supports both USB-C® and USB™ Type-A connectors.
- Compatibility: Works with Windows®, macOS®, and Chrome OS™. Compatible with popular video calling applications like Zoom™, Microsoft Teams™, Skype™, and Facebook™ Messenger.
Getting Started
Ensure your PC, Mac®, or Chromebook™ has internet access and that the person you are calling is using a compatible video calling application (e.g., Microsoft Teams™, Zoom™). Select the JVU300 as your video device and microphone in the application's settings.
Privacy Settings
Windows® 10 & 11:
- Go to Start > Settings > Privacy / Privacy & Security > Camera/Microphone.
- Allow apps to access your camera and microphone.
- Ensure the JVU300 is selected within your video calling application's settings.
macOS®:
- Click the Apple® menu > System Settings (or System Preferences) > Privacy & Security > Privacy.
- Select Camera and Microphone options.
- Check the box next to the application to grant it access. Deselect to revoke access.
Wireless Microphone Usage
Power Button: Short-press to turn on/off or mute/unmute. Long-press to power off.
Notes:
- The camera's built-in microphone is automatically disabled when the wireless mic is active.
- The wireless mic charges automatically when connected to the JVU300 camera.
- Using the wireless mic clipped to your collar is recommended to minimize background noise.
- AI functions are automatically disabled when zoom in/out is activated.
AI and PIP Mode Button
Short-press: Switches between AI functions (Smart Tracking, Auto-Framing, Object PIP Mode) and turns off AI/PIP modes. The sequence is: Smart Tracking > Auto-Framing > Object PIP Mode > Turn off AI and PIP mode.
Long-press: Zooms in/out.
Video Modes
- Smart Tracking: Tracks the presenter's movements and centers them in the video.
- Auto-Framing: Automatically detects people and centers them in the video.
- Object PIP Mode: Tracks the presenter and highlighted objects in Picture-in-Picture mode.
- Vertical Shooting Mode: Allows video recording in portrait mode for better smartphone viewing.
