"My Reconnect Case Manager has helped me re-engage in an area of study that I'm passionate about, and in a way that has allowed me to move at my own pace. Anxiety, a lack of confidence and financial hardship were my biggest barriers to being able to achieve my educational goals. With the support of Reconnect, I've been able to transition back into study through a pre-accredited course, enrol part-time in a Certificate that I love and that doesn't interfere with my other commitments, and receive financial support to cover my course fees, which I'd otherwise not be able to pay. I was so happy when I received the Foundation Studies Student of the Year; I never thought I'd be able to achieve anything like that, and I don't think I would have been able to if I didn't have the support of my Reconnect Case Manager."
