UCon User Guide
The user guide is for reference only. Screen shots displayed in this user's guide of the "UCon" app may appear differently than those currently featured in your app as frequent updates and improvements.

Product Instruction
Side 1 View:
- Signal strength indicator (green: strong, blue: medium, red: weak)
- Reset button: Press and hold for 3 seconds to enter reset pairing state (blue light flashing + prompt tone).
- TF card slot
- SIM card slot
Side 2 View:
- Toggle switches: Left (power off), Middle (picture mode), Right (video mode). These adjust the recording mode and on/off the camera.
- Charging port
- Status indicator: Red light is on when powered on. Blue light is always on when the device is ready to add.
- Charging indicator: Green light is always on during charging, and turns off when fully charged.
Application Description
1. APP INSTALLATION
Scan the QR codes or search for "UCon" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) to download and install the app.

2. APP REGISTRATION
- Open the app, input your E-mail address, and press 'Register'. Agree to the terms to receive a verification code via email. Allow all permissions for optimal experience.
- Set a login password (minimum 8 characters, combination of letters and numbers) and confirm it. Press 'Register'.
- Check your email for a verification link and click it to complete registration.
- Enter your E-mail address and password, then click 'Login'. The app may auto-fill account information.
3. CONNECTION
- Press 'Add Family' and set the room or position.
- Enter your family name and press 'Next'.
- Input necessary information like Country and Province, then press 'Done'.
- Press 'Add a device' to add a smart device.
- Insert the SIM card, then the battery. Some models may require antenna installation.
- After powering on, wait about 1 minute for the blue LED to light up, then press 'Next'.
- Troubleshooting Connection:
- If the blue LED does not light up:
- Red light always on: Signal is too weak. Check antenna installation or device position/direction.
- Red and blue lights flash alternately (fast): Device does not detect SIM card. Ensure SIM is inserted. If PIN is enabled, disable it using a phone first.
- Red and blue lights flash alternately (slow): Insufficient data or unpaid service. Recharge or replace the SIM card.
- Red light flashing: Device is faulty. Contact customer service.
- Blue light flashing: Network connection is abnormal.
- Red and blue lights flashing simultaneously: Automatic network access failed. Configure APN.
- Scan the UID QR code on the camera using the app.
- The app will search for the device (may take 5-60 seconds).
- Select the device name and location, then press 'Done'.
- PIR Detection Notes:
- Adjust sensing distance via PIR sensitivity settings.
- Low: Up to 9 meters detection distance.
- Medium: Up to 14 meters detection distance.
- High: Up to 20 meters detection distance.
4. USING THE APP
Device List Screen:
- Enter to select your family or smart device location.
- Turn push notifications on/off.
- Access Settings for Sharing, Cloud storage, and device deletion.
- Press to enter the preview section.
- Press to add a smart device.
- Manage your account and value-added services.
Device Details Screen:
- Basic Settings: Storage management, Flip screen, Environmental model, PIR detection, Sleep time, Power frequency, LED indicator, Device name.
- Device Information: View Device name, Device ID, Model, FW version, Manufacturer, and check for FW updates.
- Turn the speaker on/off.
- Take a screenshot.
- Switch between 'Micro SD memory' and 'Cloud storage' for playback.
- Take a video of the live view.
- Use the microphone to speak towards the smart device.
'Me' Screen:
- Check 'my account' name and change password.
- Check and purchase Cloud storage.
- Check and add friends, manage permissions.
- Set default voice and resolution for devices.
- Configure push settings (auto run, permission management, battery management, accept call).
- Check network signal strength.
- Check the App version.
Playback:
- Click the 'Calendar' icon to select a date for viewing videos or pictures from cloud storage or TF card.
