Getting Started

Initial Setup:

  • Connect the wireless USB transmitter to a working USB port on your PC.
  • The headset operates wirelessly up to 40 feet (12m) from the transmitter, though obstructions like walls can reduce range.
  • Important: Upon first use, the operating system will automatically install the device driver. It is recommended to reboot your PC after the driver has loaded.
  • Hearing Safety: Prolonged listening at high volumes can adversely affect hearing. Always start with the volume at the lowest level and take breaks during extended use.

iCUE Software

For the full feature set of your headset, download the iCUE Software from corsair.com/support/downloads.

Note: Some headset features will be disabled if the headset is used without the iCUE software.

  • Install iCUE on a PC running Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, or later.
  • Reboot your PC after installation and launch iCUE.

iCUE Software Capabilities:

  • Customize RGB color preferences and light intensity.
  • Select and customize audio equalizer (EQ) settings.
  • Adjust microphone input volume and microphone sidetone.
  • Enable or disable 7.1 surround sound.

The iCUE software includes built-in documentation for detailed usage instructions.

Charging

The Corsair VOID RGB ELITE WIRELESS Headset requires a full charge before its first use.

  • Connect the included USB charging cable to a working USB port on your PC.
  • Connect the other end of the USB charging cable to the headset's charging port (I).

The headset battery does not have a "memory effect," meaning it does not need to be fully discharged before recharging. Ensure the USB port used is USB 2.0 or better, as some older ports may not provide sufficient power.

Audio and Mic Settings

Audio Settings (Jog Dial H):

  • Short press (0.1-0.5 seconds): Toggles EQ presets.
  • Medium press (0.6-2 seconds): Toggles 7.1 surround sound.

Microphone Control (Mute Button C):

  • Short press (0.1-0.5 seconds): Toggles microphone mute on/off.
  • Long press (2-4 seconds): Toggles microphone sidetone on/off.

Note: iCUE software offers alternative control for these features.

  • Single blink red: Connected, battery low.
  • Single blink green: Connected, battery normal.
  • Rapid blink red: Disconnected, battery low.

For Optimal Wireless Performance

  • Place the wireless USB transmitter in an open, unobstructed area for best signal strength.
  • Ensure the headset battery is fully charged before initial use.
  • To maximize battery life, avoid leaving the battery fully discharged for extended periods; maintain a partial charge.
  • If RGB lighting is not essential, disabling it via iCUE can extend battery life.
  • Promptly disconnect the USB charging cable once the headset is fully charged.
  • Operate the headset at room temperature (20-30°C or 68-86°F).
