Connection Guide

Follow these steps to connect your ESAB Rogue welding machine.

Step 1 & 2: Connect Welding Cables

For MMA Welding: Connect the electrode holder to the positive (+) terminal and the ground clamp to the negative (-) terminal.

For TIG Welding: Connect the TIG torch to the negative (-) terminal and the ground clamp to the positive (+) terminal.

Step 3: Secure Grounding

Connect the ground clamp firmly to the workpiece for effective grounding.

Step 4: TIG Torch Connection

Attach the TIG torch to the designated connector on the machine's front panel.

Step 5: Power Input

Connect the single-phase (1~) power cable to the machine's power input.

Step 6: Gas Supply

Connect the gas hose to the gas inlet fitting on the machine.

Step 7: Electrode Holder Connection

Attach the electrode holder to the designated connector on the machine's front panel.

Step 8: Final Cable Check

Verify that the TIG torch and electrode holder are correctly connected to their respective terminals.

Step 9: Welding in Progress
