iMEC D579 Auto Timer Control for Detergent
Product Information
The product is equipped with three buttons: Screen, Clock, and Run/Start. Each button has a main function and a secondary function.
- Screen: The main function of the Screen button is to display information. The secondary function is to shift to the next blank.
- Clock: The main function of the Clock button is to set the time. The secondary function is to set the figure for each blank.
- Run/Start: The main function of the Run/Start button is to set the duration for each run. The secondary function is to enter/accept.

Introduction – Getting to know the 3 buttons
How to set the 24 hr clock
- Press “CLOCK” till screen starts to blink
- Adjust time using
- Press “CLOCK” to shift
to the next blank and use - Press “CLOCK” and “RUN” together and hold till the colon flashes. Clock is set.
How to read the 24 hr clock
- Screen shows clock in hour/min.
- Press “CLOCK” again and screen shows min/sec
- Press “CLOCK” again to return to hour/min screen
How to set duration for each run
- Press “RUN” till the screen shows
- Press
to shift to the next blank and to adjust the time. - Press
to enter.
How to set running time
- Press “START” till the screen shows
This means that no time has been programmed. - Press “START” once and screen shows
Using & adjust the 1st starting time. - Press “START” till once the screen shows
. This means that the 1st running time has been programmed (1 P) and whether to proceed to the next programme (02). - Press “START” once and screen shows Using &
adjust the 1st starting time. - Press “START” till once the screen shows
. This means that the two running time has been programmed (2 P) and whether to proceed to the next programme (03).
If you wish to proceed to the next programme, - Follow steps 2-3 repeatedly to programme the starting time for each run. A maximum of 12 runs can be programmed.
If you do not wish to proceed to the next programme, - Press “START” twice. The screen would return to the clock.
How to cancel or reset a particular set tim
- Press “START” till the screen reads
. This means that 3 starting times has been programmed and it refers to the 1st of the 3 starting times. - Press “START” once and the screen will show the 1st starting time. Use & to readjust the time if needed. If not, press “START” once.
If you wish to cancel this particular time,
Press till any blank shows 
followed by pressing “START”, the particular running time will be cancelled.

- Press Run & Start at the same time
