Getting Started
- Open the battery compartment cover and insert 2 AAA batteries. Close the cover.
- Press the Power/Buzzer button (1) to turn the device on. Press and hold the Power/Buzzer button (1) for 2 seconds to turn the device off. The device will shut down automatically in 3 minutes of no activity.
- To measure, turn the device on and place it on a flat surface.
Usage
- When the device is on, it will display the current value in degrees. Press the MODE button (2) to switch between °, %, mm/m, and in/ft.
- The [deviation indicator] icon indicates that the measured surface deviates from the horizontal or vertical plane.
- Memory Recall Function: Press and hold the H/M button (6) to save the current angle value in the device's memory (8 memory settings available). Press the MR button (5) to display the stored values on the LCD. By pressing the MR button (5), you can check values from M8 to M1. To exit, press any button except the MODE button (2). Note: To clear stored data, press and hold the MR button (5).
- Angle Measurement: To set an alternative reference point for measurements, press the REF button (3) to set the value to 0. The [set to zero indicator] icon will appear. Press the REF button (3) again to exit this function.
- Hold Function: To freeze readings, press the H/M button (6). The [hold indicator] icon will appear. Press H/M button (6) again to return to measurement mode.
Acoustic Alert
- Press the Power/Buzzer button (1). The ? [acoustic alert indicator] icon will appear. The audible buzzer alerts when the device is within +/-1° of the horizontal or vertical position. Press the Power/Buzzer button (1) again to turn off this function.
Calibration
Turn off the device. Place it on a flat surface. Hold the Power/Buzzer button (1) and CAL button (4) down until the CAL icon appears on the LCD. Enter calibration mode. Do not move the device and then press the CAL button (4). The CAL1 icon will appear. Rotate the device 180° and press the CAL button (4). The CAL1 icon will appear again. Calibration is complete when the CAL2 icon disappears. Calibration must be performed on a flat, smooth surface with a slope not exceeding 5°. If it exceeds 5°, the "Err" icon will show, indicating calibration failure.
Note: The device is factory calibrated for maximum accuracy. Users can recalibrate it when necessary.

Use the device only as specified in the user manual. Keep away from children. Do not attempt to disassemble the device. For repairs and cleaning, contact your local specialized service center. Use only accessories and spare parts that comply with technical specifications. Never attempt to operate a damaged device or one with damaged electrical parts. If a part of the device or battery is swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
Battery Safety Instructions
Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery. Replace the entire set of batteries at one time, avoiding mixing old/new or different types. Clean battery contacts and device contacts before installation. Ensure correct battery polarity (+ and -). Remove batteries from equipment not in use for extended periods. Remove used batteries promptly. Never short-circuit batteries to avoid high temperatures, leakage, or explosion. Do not heat batteries to revive them. Do not disassemble batteries. Remember to switch off devices after use. Keep batteries out of reach of children to prevent ingestion, suffocation, or poisoning. Dispose of used batteries according to country laws.
