Important Safety Instructions: Read this manual carefully before installation and use to avoid mistakes and accidents. Save these instructions for future reference.

Children and Vulnerable People Safety

  • Appliance can be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities if supervised or instructed on safe use.
  • Children aged 3-8 can load and unload the appliance.
  • Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and maintenance by children aged 8+ and supervised only.
  • Keep packaging away from children to prevent suffocation.

General Safety

  • WARNING! Keep ventilation openings clear of obstructions.
  • WARNING! Do not use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting.
  • WARNING! Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
  • WARNING! Do not use other electrical appliances inside unless approved by the manufacturer.
  • WARNING! Do not touch the light bulb if it has been on for a long time.
  • If discarding, pull the plug, cut the cable, and remove the door to prevent child entrapment.
  • If the appliance has magnetic door seals, ensure any old spring lock is made unusable before discarding the old appliance.
  • WARNING! Ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.
  • WARNING! Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or power suppliers at the rear.
  • Do not store explosive substances (e.g., aerosol cans) in the appliance.
  • The refrigerant isobutane (R-600a) is flammable. Avoid open flames and ignition sources. Ventilate the room thoroughly.
  • Do not alter specifications or modify the product; damage to the cord can cause fire/electric shock.
  • Intended use: household and similar applications (shops, offices, farm houses, hotels, B&Bs, catering).
  • WARNING! Electrical components must be replaced by qualified personnel.
  • The supplied light bulb is a special use lamp bulb.
  • Do not lengthen the power cord.
  • Ensure the power plug is not squashed or damaged.
  • Ensure the mains plug is accessible.
  • Do not pull the mains cable.
  • If the socket is loose, do not insert the plug.
  • Do not operate without the lamp.
  • The appliance is heavy; handle with care.
  • Do not touch freezer items with damp hands to avoid frost burns.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Daily Use Safety: Do not place hot food in the appliance. Do not place food directly against the rear wall.
  • Frozen food must not be re-frozen once thawed.
  • Store pre-packed frozen food according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Adhere to manufacturer storage recommendations.
  • Do not place carbonated drinks in the freezer compartment as they can explode.
  • Ice lollies can cause frost burns if consumed immediately.
  • To avoid contamination: open doors for short periods, clean surfaces that contact food, clean water tanks if unused for 48h, flush water system if water not drawn for 5 days.
  • Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers.
  • Two-star compartments are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, ice cream, and ice cubes.

Care and Cleaning

  • Before maintenance, switch off and disconnect the mains plug.
  • Do not clean with metal objects or sharp objects for frost removal. Use a plastic scraper.
  • Regularly examine and clean the drain.

Installation

  • Follow electrical connection instructions carefully.
  • Unpack and check for damages. Do not connect if damaged. Retain packing.
  • Wait at least four hours before connecting to allow oil to flow back into the compressor.
  • Ensure adequate air circulation to prevent overheating.
  • Position spacers against a wall to avoid touching warm parts.
  • Do not locate near radiators or cookers.
  • Ensure the mains plug is accessible after installation.

Service

  • Electrical work must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
  • Product must be serviced by an authorized Service Center using genuine spare parts.

Energy Saving

  • Do not put hot food in the appliance.
  • Do not pack food close together to allow air circulation.
  • Ensure food does not touch the back of the compartment(s).

Environment Protection

  • The appliance does not contain ozone-damaging gasses.
  • Dispose of the appliance according to local regulations. Avoid damaging the cooling unit.
  • Materials marked with the recycling symbol ♻️ are recyclable.
  • The symbol ♻️ on the product or packaging indicates it should not be treated as household waste but taken to an appropriate collection point for electrical and electronic equipment recycling.

Overview

The appliance features an LED light at the top. The fridge compartment includes adjustable shelves, a crisper cover, a crisper drawer for fruits and vegetables, and door balconies. The freezer compartment contains shelves and drawers. The unit stands on adjustable leveling feet.

Installation

Space Requirement

  • Select a location without direct sunlight.
  • Ensure enough space for doors to open easily.
  • Choose a level or nearly level floor.
  • Allow sufficient space for installation on a flat surface.
  • Maintain clearance on the right, left, back, and top to reduce power consumption.
  • Keep at least 50mm gap at two sides and the back.

Positioning

Install the appliance according to its climate class, which corresponds to ambient temperature ranges:

  • SN (Extended Temperate): 10°C to 32°C
  • N (Temperate): 16°C to 32°C
  • ST (Subtropical): 16°C to 38°C
  • T (Tropical): 16°C to 43°C

Location

  • Install away from heat sources like radiators or boilers.
  • Ensure free air circulation around the back of the cabinet.
  • If positioned below an overhanging unit, maintain at least 50mm clearance between the top of the cabinet and the unit.
  • Accurate leveling is ensured by adjustable feet at the base.
  • This appliance is not intended for built-in use.

WARNING! The appliance must be disconnectable from the mains power supply; the plug must be easily accessible after installation.

Electrical Connection

  • Ensure voltage and frequency match your domestic supply.
  • The appliance must be earthed.
  • If the domestic power supply socket is not earthed, connect to a separate earth in compliance with regulations, consulting a qualified electrician.
  • Manufacturer is not responsible for damages due to non-compliance with safety precautions.
  • This appliance complies with EEC Directives.

Door Reversibility

Tools and materials required: Straight screwdriver, cross screwdriver, spanner, and components from the poly bag.

Steps to reverse the door:

  1. Unscrew the top hinge cover and the top hinge. Lift the upper door and place it on a soft pad to prevent damage.
  2. Remove the top left screw cover.
  3. Remove the upper door, unscrew the middle hinge, and then remove the lower door.
  4. Lay the refrigerator down, remove the adjusting feet, and then remove the lower hinge.
  5. Adjust the hinge core positions of the lower and upper hinges to the opposite sides.
  6. Install the lower hinge under the refrigerator, screwing in the adjusting feet to ensure it is level.
  7. Detach and reattach the fridge and freezer door gaskets after rotating them.
  8. Remove original door closers from doors and install new ones from the bag to the opposite side.
  9. Install the lower door, adjust, and fix the middle hinge onto the cabinet.
  10. Place the upper door back, ensuring alignment and seal closure. Tighten the top hinge, insert it, and fix the hinge cover with screws.
  11. Fix the screw cover.

Install Door External Handle

Follow instructions if an external handle is present.

Space Requirement (Diagrammatic)

Diagrams show required clearances for door opening and gaps at sides/back (min 50mm). Dimensions are provided (A-I).

Levelling the Unit

Adjust the two levelling feet at the front of the unit. If the unit is not level, doors and magnetic seals may not align properly.

User Control Panel

1. Temperature Setting of the Fridge Compartment

Use the temperature setting knob to adjust the fridge compartment temperature. Settings are OFF, COLD (warmest), COLDER, and COLDEST (coldest). The appliance may not operate correctly in very hot environments or with frequent door opening. The appliance does not work when set to OFF.

2. Temperature Setting of the Freezer Compartment

Use the freezer temperature setting slider. Moving the slider towards the snowflake symbol (❄️) makes the compartment colder; moving it away makes it warmer. The middle position is recommended for normal use. For the lowest temperature, adjust the fridge knob to COLDEST and position the freezer slider accordingly.

Notes:

  • Avoid '☀️' and '❄️' settings in winter or temperatures below 16°C.
  • For energy saving, '❄️' and '❄️❄️' settings are for special needs like quick-freezing or ice making and should be returned to normal settings afterward.

Daily Use

First Use

Clean the interior and accessories with lukewarm water and mild soap. Dry thoroughly. Do not use detergents or abrasive powders.

Freezing Fresh Food

  • The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen/deep-frozen food.
  • Place fresh food in the bottom compartment for freezing.
  • The maximum amount of food that can be frozen in 24 hours is specified on the rating plate.
  • The freezing process takes 24 hours; do not add other food during this period.

Storing Frozen Food

  • Before first use or after an outage, run the appliance for at least 2 hours on higher settings.
  • Important! In case of accidental defrosting, consume or cook defrosted food quickly before re-freezing.

Thawing

Food can be thawed in the freezer compartment or at room temperature. Small pieces can be cooked directly from frozen.

Accessories

Movable shelves can be positioned as desired using the runners.

Positioning Door Balconies

Door balconies can be disassembled for cleaning by gradually pulling them out.

Disassemble the Bottom Drawer

  1. Pull out the bottom drawer to the stopper position.
  2. Lift up the front of the drawer.
  3. Pull out the bottom drawer.

Helpful Hints and Tips

Hints for Freezing

  • Freeze only top quality, fresh, and thoroughly cleaned foodstuffs.
  • Prepare food in small portions for rapid freezing and easy thawing.
  • Wrap food in airtight packaging (e.g., aluminum foil, polythene bags).
  • Do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch already frozen food.
  • Lean foods store better and longer than fatty ones; salt reduces storage life.
  • Consume water ices immediately after removal to avoid frost burns.
  • Show the freezing date on each pack to keep track of storage time.

Hints for Storage of Frozen Food

  • Ensure frozen foodstuffs were adequately stored by the retailer.
  • Transfer frozen foodstuffs to the freezer as quickly as possible.
  • Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than necessary.
  • Once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be refrozen.
  • Do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacturer.

Hints for Fresh Food Refrigeration

  • Do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator.
  • Cover or wrap food, especially if it has a strong flavour.

Hints for Refrigeration

  • Wrap meat in polythene bags and place on glass shelves. Store for a maximum of one or two days.
  • Cover cooked foods and cold dishes.
  • Clean fruits and vegetables and place them in the special drawer.
  • Use airtight containers or wrap butter and cheese to exclude air.
  • Store milk bottles with caps in the door balconies.
  • Do not pack bananas, potatoes, onions, and garlic.
  • Ensure all drawers, baskets, and shelves are in place for energy efficiency.

Cleaning

Clean the appliance interior and accessories regularly with lukewarm water and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.

Caution! Disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning. Danger of electrical shock! Never use a steam cleaner. Moisture can damage electrical components.

Important! Avoid contact with ethereal oils and organic solvents (e.g., lemon juice, orange peel). Do not use abrasive cleaners.

  • Remove food from the freezer and store it covered in a cool place.
  • Switch off the appliance and remove the plug.
  • Clean with a cloth and lukewarm water, then wipe with fresh water and rub dry.
  • Ensure the appliance is dry before putting it back into service.

Troubleshooting

Caution! Disconnect power before troubleshooting. Only qualified personnel should perform troubleshooting not covered in this manual.

Note: Some sounds during normal use (compressor, refrigerant circulation) are expected.

Gently warm leaking sections of the door seal with a hairdryer (cool setting) and shape by hand to ensure a proper seal.

The appliance is touching the wall or other objects.
A component (e.g., a pipe) on the rear is touching another part or the wall.
Re-adjust the feet.
Move the appliance slightly.
Carefully bend the component out of the way if necessary.
