2. 안전 정보

WARNING: This device is designed to detect carbon monoxide, smoke, and combustible gases. It is not a substitute for proper maintenance of fuel-burning appliances, including ventilation systems, nor is it a substitute for property insurance.

4. 설정

4.1 위치 선택

Proper placement of the detector is crucial for effective monitoring. Consider the following guidelines:

• 일산화탄소 (CO) : CO is slightly lighter than air and mixes readily with it. Place detectors near sleeping areas and on every level of your home.
• 연기: Smoke rises. For optimal smoke detection, place the unit on a wall or ceiling where smoke can easily reach it.
• 가연성 가스: Natural gas (methane) is lighter than air and rises. Propane and butane are heavier than air and sink. If detecting natural gas, place the unit higher on the wall. If detecting propane/butane, place it lower. For general combustible gas detection, a mid-level placement is often recommended.
• 피하다: Areas near windows, doors, or vents where drafts might interfere with readings. Also avoid extremely dusty, dirty, or greasy areas.

4.2 초기 전원 켜기

2. Plug the detector directly into a standard 110V-220V AC electrical outlet.
3. The device will power on automatically and begin its self-test sequence. The HD screen will illuminate and display initial readings.

5.2 버튼 기능

• 전원 버튼 (⏻): Short press for self-testing. Long press to turn off when operating on battery power.
• Screen Brightness Button (💡): Short press to change screen brightness level. Long press to switch temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
• Buzzer Button (🔊): Short press to turn off the buzzer during an alarm.

5.3 Testing the Unit

It is recommended to test the detector weekly to ensure proper functionality.

Note: Carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless. Do not attempt to test the CO sensor with car exhaust or burning gas, as this is extremely dangerous and can cause harm. The self-test function verifies the CO sensor's operation.
