Gedsffati 5-in-1 Detector Instruction Manual

모델: HD11

1. 서론

Thank you for choosing the Gedsffati 5-in-1 Carbon Monoxide, Smoke, and Combustible Natural Gas Alarm. This advanced detector is designed to provide comprehensive safety monitoring for your home or RV, integrating sensors for carbon monoxide (CO), smoke, combustible gases (such as natural gas, propane, and methane), temperature, and humidity. Its plug-and-play design and built-in backup battery ensure continuous protection. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper operation and maximize the lifespan of your device.

2. 안전 정보

WARNING: This device is designed to detect carbon monoxide, smoke, and combustible gases. It is not a substitute for proper maintenance of fuel-burning appliances, including ventilation systems, nor is it a substitute for property insurance.

2.1 일반 안전 예방 조치

  • Do not paint the detector. Paint can clog the sensing vents and interfere with the unit's ability to detect hazards.
  • Do not block the vents on the detector. Ensure proper airflow around the unit.
  • Keep the detector away from direct sunlight, high humidity, and extreme temperatures.
  • This device should be regularly tested as described in the Maintenance section.

2.2 일산화탄소 위험

Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, and toxic gas. Mild poisoning symptoms include headaches, dizziness, nausea, and fatigue. Higher concentrations can lead to confusion, collapse, and even death. The detector provides real-time CO concentration readings in parts per million (ppm).

2.3 Combustible Gas Hazard

Combustible gases like natural gas, propane, and methane are colorless and odorless in their pure state (odorants are added for detection). Methane itself is non-toxic but can cause suffocation by displacing oxygen. Leaks can lead to explosive hazards. The detector will alert you to the presence of these gases.

2.4 Smoke Hazard

Thick smoke contains harmful particles and gases (e.g., carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides) that can irritate respiratory passages, cause coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. Inhaling too much smoke can lead to severe health issues and damage to the nervous and cardiovascular systems.

4. 설정

4.1 위치 선택

Proper placement of the detector is crucial for effective monitoring. Consider the following guidelines:

  • 일산화탄소 (CO) : CO is slightly lighter than air and mixes readily with it. Place detectors near sleeping areas and on every level of your home.
  • 연기: Smoke rises. For optimal smoke detection, place the unit on a wall or ceiling where smoke can easily reach it.
  • 가연성 가스: Natural gas (methane) is lighter than air and rises. Propane and butane are heavier than air and sink. If detecting natural gas, place the unit higher on the wall. If detecting propane/butane, place it lower. For general combustible gas detection, a mid-level placement is often recommended.
  • 피하다: Areas near windows, doors, or vents where drafts might interfere with readings. Also avoid extremely dusty, dirty, or greasy areas.

4.2 초기 전원 켜기

  1. Unpack the detector and ensure all components are present (detector, manual).
  2. Plug the detector directly into a standard 110V-220V AC electrical outlet.
  3. The device will power on automatically and begin its self-test sequence. The HD screen will illuminate and display initial readings.

4.3 배터리 충전

The built-in 2000 mAh lithium-ion battery will automatically charge when the unit is plugged into an AC outlet. A battery icon on the HD screen indicates the charging status and current battery level. Ensure the unit is fully charged before relying solely on battery backup for extended periods.

5. 운영

5.1 Screen Display and Indicators

The 2.1'' HD screen provides real-time information:

  • 이산화탄소 ppm: Displays the concentration of carbon monoxide.
  • GAS icon: Indicates the presence of combustible gas.
  • SMOKE icon: Indicates the presence of smoke.
  • 온도: 주변 온도를 보여줍니다.
  • 습기: Displays the relative humidity.
  • 배터리 아이콘: 배터리 충전 수준을 보여줍니다.
  • Plug Icon: Indicates if the unit is connected to AC power.
  • 경보 상태: Visual indicators and audible alerts when thresholds are exceeded.

5.2 버튼 기능

  • 전원 버튼 (): Short press for self-testing. Long press to turn off when operating on battery power.
  • Screen Brightness Button (💡): Short press to change screen brightness level. Long press to switch temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
  • Buzzer Button (🔊): Short press to turn off the buzzer during an alarm.

5.3 Testing the Unit

It is recommended to test the detector weekly to ensure proper functionality.

  1. 자가 진단: 전원 버튼을 짧게 누르세요(). The unit will perform a self-diagnostic test, and the alarm should sound briefly.
  2. 연기 테스트: Carefully approach the detector with smoke from a smoldering cigarette or a smoke test spray. The smoke icon should activate, and the alarm should sound.
  3. Combustible Gas Test: Briefly expose the detector to a small amount of combustible gas (e.g., from an unlit gas stove burner for a second, then immediately turn off the gas). The gas icon should activate, and the alarm should sound.

Note: Carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless. Do not attempt to test the CO sensor with car exhaust or burning gas, as this is extremely dangerous and can cause harm. The self-test function verifies the CO sensor's operation.

5.4 알람 표시

When a hazardous level of CO, smoke, or combustible gas is detected, the unit will activate its alarm:

  • 가청 경보: A loud 85 dB siren will sound.
  • 시각 경보: The corresponding icon (CO, GAS, or SMOKE) on the HD screen will flash, and the CO ppm reading will increase if CO is detected.

If the alarm sounds, evacuate the area immediately and call emergency services. Do not re-enter until the area has been cleared by professionals.

6. 유지관리

6.1 감지기 청소

Dust and debris can accumulate on the detector and affect its performance. Follow these steps to clean your unit:

  • Unplug the detector from the power outlet.
  • Gently wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use cleaning solvents or harsh chemicals.
  • Use a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to carefully clean around the sensing vents.
  • 전원을 다시 연결하기 전에 장치가 완전히 말랐는지 확인하세요.

6.2 정기 테스트

As mentioned in the Operation section, test your detector weekly using the self-test button. Additionally, perform a smoke and gas test monthly to ensure the sensors are functioning correctly.

6.3 배터리 관리

The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery is designed for long-term use. To maintain battery health, avoid prolonged periods of complete discharge. If the unit is stored for an extended time, ensure it is fully charged periodically.
