1. Introduction

2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment located on the handle of the thermometer.
- Insert one 9V 6F22 battery (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.

2.2 Unit Selection (Celsius/Fahrenheit)
Inside the battery compartment, locate the switch to select your preferred temperature unit (Celsius or Fahrenheit). Slide the switch to the desired setting.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Quick Measurement
- Press the trigger to turn on the device. The LCD screen will illuminate.
- Aim the thermometer's laser pointer at the surface of the object you wish to measure. If laser positioning is not required, you can turn it off using the dedicated button.
- Press and hold the trigger. The target temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.
- Release the trigger. The measured temperature will remain displayed on the LCD screen for a short period.

3.2 High-Temperature Spot Positioning
To locate the hottest spot on a surface:
- Press and hold the trigger button.
- Slowly move the thermometer's laser point across the target area (e.g., up and down, side to side) to scan for temperature variations.
- The display will continuously update, allowing you to identify the highest temperature reading.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the device casing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Carefully clean the infrared lens and laser aperture with a soft, lint-free cloth or cotton swab, slightly moistened with water or lens cleaning solution. Avoid scratching the lens.
4.2 Storage
- Store the thermometer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If storing for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage.

- No Power: Ensure the battery is correctly installed and fully charged. Replace the battery if necessary.
- Inaccurate Readings: Check the distance to spot ratio (D:S) and ensure the target object fills the measurement spot. Verify the emissivity setting if adjustable. Clean the infrared lens.
- Laser Not Working: Check if the laser function is enabled. Ensure the battery has sufficient power.
