1. Put your Z-Wave controller/gateway into "add new product" mode, also known as pairing or inclusion mode. Refer to your gateway's user manual if you are unsure how to do this.
2. The Water Sensor 6 can be connected to your Z-Wave network using standard or advanced security. Standard security is recommended for most setups.
3. To connect using standard security, press the sensor's Action Button once. The LED will flash green to indicate it has entered pairing mode.
4. To connect using advanced security, tap the Action Button twice within 1 second. The LED will flash blue to indicate pairing mode.
5. If the sensor is successfully added, the RGB LED will change color for 2 seconds: solid green for basic security or solid blue for advanced security. After this, the sensor will enter Wakeup Mode, indicated by an orange flashing LED.
6. If the pairing fails, the LED will turn red for 2 seconds. Repeat the steps ensuring your Z-Wave gateway is in the correct mode.
