1. **Normal Mode Operation:** In normal mode, the A.C. power is present, and the A.C. Driver operates the LED Module as intended. The TCTS will be lit, providing a visual indication that the battery is being charged.
2. **Emergency Mode Operation:** In emergency mode, if the A.C. power fails, the ILBHI CP HE SD will automatically switch to emergency mode. The LED Module will be illuminated at a reduced output for a minimum of 90 minutes.
3. **Testing & Maintenance:** The ILBHI CP HE SD is designed to automatically test the emergency function for 60 seconds each month and 90 minutes every 12 months. Any detected failures will be indicated by flashing of the three-color LED. Manual testing can also be performed by pressing and releasing the TCTS test button when the status indicator light is GREEN.
4. **Load Calibration:** Load Calibration is required whenever the LED load connected to the ILBHI CP HE SD is changed. Load Calibration happens automatically 48 hours after installation, but it can also be manually initiated by pressing and holding the TCTS button for 20 seconds.
5. **Troubleshooting:** If you encounter issues such as the emergency LED module not operating, TCTS charging LED not on, or the fixture not operating in normal mode, refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual for possible causes and solutions.
By understanding the normal and emergency mode operations, performing regular testing and maintenance, and following the troubleshooting guidelines, you can ensure that your emergency LED driver is functioning correctly and ready to provide illumination during power outages.
