3. Clean the spool retainer and spool base: Use a clean cloth to clean the inner surface of the spool retainer and spool base.
4. Wind the new cutting line onto the spool retainer: Fold the cutting line in half and hook the folded end of the cutting line. Wind the line in two even and tight layers onto the spool retainer.
5. Place the ends of the line in the eyelets: Insert the ends of the line into two opposite eyelets on the spool base.
6. Align and secure the spool base: Align the tabs on the spool base with the slots on the trimmer head and press it until it snaps into place.
7. Check for proper installation: Make sure that the tabs on the spool base snap into place to ensure the spool remains secure during operation.
8. Alternative line replacement method: If preferred, you can reinstall the spool retainer in a different way by aligning the threading hole on the spool retainer with one of the eyelets. Insert the new line into the eyelet and feed it through until it comes out of the other side eyelet. Wind the cutting line into the trimmer head by rotating the bump head in the indicated direction.
Remember to always follow the manufacturer's guidelines and safety precautions when replacing the cutting line on your string trimmer attachment.
