1. After completing the installation process, turn the ignition to the "RUN" position to confirm that the windshield trim is operating correctly. This step allows you to check if the LED turn signals are functioning as intended.
2. Re-install the fairing by plugging in the headlamp connector back onto the headlamp. Hold the windshield trim above the fairing and push the outer fairing cover into place securely.
3. Secure the windshield trim into position with the provided washer and the new center 1/4-20 x 2 1/4 bolt. Ensure that the wires are routed at the sides of the fairing as shown in the provided picture.
4. Adjust the slack in the wiring to make sure the wire is exiting the side area of the fairing. Install the remaining washers and the two 1/4-20 x 7/8 Allen head Bolts onto the fairing. Ensure there is no wire slack remaining on the side of the windshield trim. Once the screws are started, make any final adjustments to fitment, then tighten all 3 top bolts.
5. Tighten the 4 inner fairing bolts securely.
6. Plug the Black 4 pin female JAE connector of the windshield trim harness into the turn signal bracket harness, then re-install the turn signal bracket onto the front fork and secure it with the original nuts. Repeat the same process for the other side.
7. Perform a BCM sync by following the steps provided in the installation instructions. This step ensures that the lighting system is synchronized correctly.
8. Test the operation of all lighting in all modes before riding to confirm that the LED turn signals are installed correctly and functioning properly.
