Pairing MotionProtect Curtain with the hub:
1. Name the device, scan the QR code located on the back of the detector body or its packaging, or enter it manually.
2. Select the room for placement and tap "Add." A countdown will start.

If motion is detected before the system is armed, the alarm will activate during the next polling interval.

When prompted by the app, turn on the MotionProtect Curtain. To do this, open the back panel, insert the battery if it is not already installed, and press the power button. The LED indicator will blink to confirm the device is ready for pairing.
The Ajax hub should detect the device within a few seconds and confirm successful pairing.
After pairing, configure the device settings, including detection sensitivity and range. You can test the motion detection coverage using the Detection Zone Test in the app. Make sure to mount the sensor at the recommended height, usually around two point four meters.
If pairing fails, remove the battery, wait for about ten seconds, then reinsert it and try the process again. Also, ensure the device is within the hub’s communication range and that there is no signal interference.
